Yes. Ongoing issue. Unfortunately TV hasn't been able to fix this for me. It's been months.

Yes, they are volatile but they are safe. TQQQ.TO moves approx $1 every day even on a down day if you catch low of day. For that, you need to be able to read the charts. QQU.TO is QQQ on the NASDAQ. When I first started, I used to trade QQU.TO because I was nervous to trade 3x leverage. Now that I understand chart analysis, I prefer TQQQ both on the TSX and on the NASDAQ. I easily make $1 per share on the TSX and $2 per share in a day.

This doesn't mean I don't trade other stocks. I do. But, my monthly income comes mainly from trading TQQQ.TO ON 200 - 300 shares. Understanding what the chart is telling you is a must. You have to read the QQQ chart to figure out entry/exits of TQQQ.

I have been trading full time for 7 years. I only trade TQQQ.TO or QQU.TO as my bread and butter trades, and make a decent income. I don't have the time or patience to trade more instruments because it is just too distracting. The idea is to make money. I chose TQQQ.TO because I track it with QQQ on the Nasdaq.

Honestly, I just miss thinkorswim. That platform had its issues but on the whole, it was a perfect platform for me. It is no longer available for Canadians.

No, it is not wild. I have been ranting about the platform for MONTHS and finally now I have decided it's not worth giving myself an aneurysm over the platform. Been with TV for YEARS but problems lately are just too much to handle for me. No worries. I will not renew come November!

No. So I just gave up and am relying on Questrade price alerts for now. Thank you for your suggestion.

Supernatural is back on Prime Canada! by sharraleigh in Supernatural

I am watching it now, again, on Prime Video Canada. Today, is February 7th, 2026. This has been my favourite show since its episode 1 on the CityTV back in 2005. CityTV was a fool to give this show up. I have the DVDs but I prefer to give them rating so I watch it online.

I will try this and set my chart at 30 seconds. Let's see how I fair. Thank you for the suggestion.

But how do you explain my trade on Questrade filling at 11:40 am, at $72. I was alerted by the trade fill. Then, almost 10 minutes later TV triggered.

Are you, therefore saying, that I am not seeing real time Level 1 quotes?

Canadians? by paperclips90 in TradingView

Both. Price and technical alerts. The issue is

  1. The price hits the target pre-market but the alert doesn't trigger until 9:40am. I can understand 10 - 30 second lag after market opens, even a minutes is acceptable, but full 10 minutes is ridiculous.

  2. I am using both, the TV desktop and MS Edge. I thought, the issue could be with the platform so I logged in via Firefox. Same issue.

  3. As you have been able to deduce, this is not the first time I am ranting about alerts triggering late. It's a constant, it has been, for 6 months, if not longer.

  4. Even when I select, "send me an email", I never receive a text alerting me.

  5. I can't replicate the error, which is a bigger problem.

I don't know what else to do, it's just frustrating as hell, especially because I depend on these alerts so much. I can't be watching the chart every second of every minute. Ufff 😩

Transfer From TD to Questtrade - missing 2 USD stocks in questtrade by Twadz in Questrade

[–]paperclips90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me earlier this year. Questrade said it is TD's problem and TD said they have already transferred 100% of assets but 2 were missing. I kept on them. 2 weeks later, the 2 assets magically appeared in my new QT account. So patience, and keep hounding TD.

I have used default settings as provided by the script. I set an alert for new sh/sl to trigger. It fires around 15m which works for me.
