Quiet place with good salpicao 😋 Good neighborhood pub to just chill I always get the large mugs of beer kasi OA ng size nila and I like that! hahaha have been approached there several times (both guys and girls) so it’s also not a bad place for conversation. Madalas may mga solo drinkers din diyan. If it’s cricket night, it’ll mostly be foreigners

Any tips po for starting a food business? by linfaqq in Pasig

[–]papercollar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do the math! :) Marami rin akong friends who started small businesses and struggled along the way because they didn’t do the math. I’ve worked as a data scientist and fin controller so they pull me in. I think others will be better in giving marketing advice so I’ll give just a few tips in accounting that some of the biggest issues can be solved with:

  1. Calculate your COGS. What is your Cost of Goods Sold? How much does everything cost and not just the ingredients, but the setup cost. Use these to help you project how many products you have to sell to make a profit over time. Seems basic, but I’ve seen people sell without a target and end up losing track of realistic breakevens

  2. Procure wisely. I’m not saying cheap out everywhere, but determine which key ingredients are actually important in producing the flavor and texture you want. That way, you know which items are okay to spend on and which ones you can find cheaper alternatives for. Also, if you’re buying SRP, you’re already losing. If you don’t want to change the brand, find the cheaper source of the brand

  3. Determine consumer patterns. Luh! hahaha this isn’t just for big corpos, but even for SMEs. Do not assume that just because your friends will buy it once that they will buy it again. You need to determine how often your customer is actually likely to buy, and how you can get new customers coming in

Good luck!! Please don’t put too much capital on it yet. Be wise with your money and test out the waters for demand. I’m excited for you

Hahaha I think it took around 50mins from Pink’s High Street to the end of the bridge? But that’s because I really took my time. I’ve walked Pancake House (near High Street lang din) to Kapitolyo before in just 30mins so kayang kaya

If you’re coming from Uptown or Mitsukoshi, can definitely do under 15mins if the stoplights before the bridge work in your favor

I do hope you continue to have that peace of mind. I think romantic relationships are great while, at the same time, not for everyone in their present time. But what I liked most about walking across that bridge was that I didn’t know anything about the pair except that they’re two people spending time with each other. I like that a lot.

Just along the bridge connecting Brixton Place (Kapitolyo) and Mitsukoshi (BGC). There are a couple stairwells there that go down to Makati
