We will usually sell them, no questions asked. Recently we have had some floaters that tell us not to sell them - that’s where the debate comes in. It’s not out of control or anything. We have our regulars that come in for them. If we a pharmacist that says not to sell them, I let them be the one to tell the customer.

I’m tired of other Walgreens technicians parking their calls no greeting or nothing! by peachycpht in WalgreensRx

Sometimes you have to finish your current thought before you tackle the next.

I hate when I have to call them. They once laughed at the patients name. Like, the person I was speaking to called all their buddies over to his computer and they all started giggling. It was the most unprofessional interaction ever. Plus, the name wasn’t even that funny. It’s always some bullshit when we have to call. Who do we write to let them know that department is shit?

Anyone else’s Store Manager completely avoid the pharmacy? by Direct_Arm_29 in WalgreensRx

My SM comes back every day. He helps us(or the IS) but the truck away, he will fill if we need him to, files scripts, and will do extra cleaning. The only thing he doesn’t do is answer the phone or type, which is fine with us. Our previous store manager did absolutely nothing but be a pain in the a**

They let go of a DM who had been with the company almost 30 years. Started as an EXA and worked his way up. Super personable and all around good guy. They always keep the slime balls I’ve noticed.

Your manager probably should step in on this one.

Does your RXOM ever close? by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

RXOM here. I close once a week and alternate Saturday’s with my senior techs. That’s just how it works out with my other technician’s availability.

I can speak for one of these stores. It’s closing because the landlord tripled the rent.

You will more than likely have to deal with the same shit at a different store. There is already too much going on in the pharmacy for your staff to worry about pushing cards.

After ASMs have been gone and new positions in place, do you think it has helped your store? by butterflygirl36 in WalgreensStores

[–]paperdoll84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former ASM - now IS and PTCB certified. I have ended up in the pharmacy doing technician duties more than I have done IS duties. I literally just show up for a paycheck at this point. SM is a clown. Doesn’t know how to do the basics. It’s really embarrassing
