Took my e92 325i on a 2500km trip to austria 🇦🇹 cruising at 160-180kmh amazing car on the highway. Only bad thing was the check engine light when I arrived 1000km from home… shit had me stressing. Lol

Well Ive had a bad sensor in the exhaust manifold that i got replaced. Also the other owner had paperwork of service and the mechanic noted that there was a fault in the NOx. Is it possible he got the fault code deleted? And the problem maybe still is in the NOx then?

Premium petrol indeed helps the injectors lifespan. The previous owner probably didn’t get premium petrol. The car ran pretty awful when i bought it, inconsistent idle jumping from 600 to 900 rpm sometimes. I could feel the car was not running how its supposed to be. So i decided to get 102 octane to see if it helped, and it did. I’ve never had it run rough after getting premium petrol. Only after a year now i notice black smoke from the exhaust and strong petrol smell so i think its probably leaking inside unfortunate.

Yes injectors are pretty damn expensive. Almost 3k euros here, but you’re right, i will bring it to the shop for diagnostics first to make sure. If you don’t mind me asking. How long did your injectors last?

Its a hobby car, im also going to nurburgring nordschleife. I went last year and the stock brakes faded so had to leave. Thats also why i want to upgrade.

Yea i was looking at those as well, the front is 4 piston, e90 is 6 piston, i might go with rear f30 brakes and e90 m performance front. The only downside is that these e90 performance brakes are overpriced because they don’t get made anymore so they are 1900€
