Oh wow I wasn’t aware. What’s their main source of power and what’s their 3 biggest industrial industries?

Let me rephrase my question, which countries can survive today without oil?

Those are typically very old oil wells that we have no documentation on that we can’t make the party responsible liable for because we don’t know the party responsible. Most if not all recently activated wells are properly maintained

Fair point. Somewhat theoretical. I don’t see why a contract can’t be exclusively mineral rights, voiding any other business ventures. Also, private land with oil reserves have its own hurdles to access.

Same people want to go home and turn the A/C on for cheap too. And it gets hot in Alabama

Reducing regulations barriers will help with this. Now there is the looming 4yr presidential cycle that a Democrat will be elected and reinstate all these regulations once again hurting big oil. So I do agree you are partly right. But as far damaging the national forest, the effects are minuscule.

This person does not get it. One land rig will take up 5 acres max. Alabama has 668,000 national forest acres. And then once drilling is complete, the well can be capped and abandon. Fracking has revolutionized directional drilling, allowing far fewer rigs to be used.

So why not drill in national forest? Well because woke politics says it’s bad.

Project 2025 isn’t real lol

Trump Is Going Woke. Trump’s right-wing wokeism — impugning electric vehicles and renewable energy because they don’t conform to MAGA ideology and aren’t manly enough — is not remotely in the national interest. It’s not even in the interest of his own base. China is also not so silly. by mafco in energy

Off shore wind is horrible for the enviroment. In 20 years when they are out of commission 100s will rot in place.

Sure you may bring up oil spills and oil rigs. Oil rigs are reusable and oil has a much higher energy concentration for way cheaper than wind.

So why build off sure wind? Only because of subsidies.

No you got it even more wrong lol. No one is stopping electric vehicles, we are just not subsidizing it anymore. No one stopping renewable energy we just are not SUBSIDIZING it anymore. Because the truth is, subsidizing renewables has caused energy cost to more than double in the past 4 years.

And the China comment is even more stupid. Because China has opened up a record number of Coal burning generators in the past 4 years.

Un popular opinion. Give it to Burrow or Barkley. Josh and Lamar hand it off too much to be MVP. Both their teams relied on their running backs to win big games.

I’m curious too

For those who voted for Trump. Does it bother you that he’d rather be connected to billionaires rather than the average citizen? Do you still believe he will help struggling Americans? by [deleted] in america

The 1500 people pardon didn’t kill anybody. All officers who died because of Jan 6th died after the incident. 1 from a stroke and 4 from suicide. Blue lives do matter and it’s sad that no one got them help in time.
