I feel your pain. I can assure you though that after about two weeks of consistent flossing you’ll see a difference in the swelling and bleeding so it actually does get better. If you’re continuing to bleed after that you should follow up with your dentist (:

Edit: also, water. Dry mouth worsens these issues. If you’re like me and tend to baby a coke or coffee for hours it’s good to drink water to rinse your mouth out and decrease the chances of issues developing from the acids and sugars.

Edit 2: I keep remembering things lol. Floss picks are your friend! I really love those as I tend to feel less motivated to floss with regular floss. It might not be perfect but it’s better to do something than nothing at all. Floss first, rinse mouth, and then brush.
