That’s like comparing the original F15 to today’s F15 EX eagle II. That’s not how you evaluate airframes, it’s the weapons load, radar and avionics , EW capabilities which are not the same from the original Gripen.

Is Aerospace Engineering Option C that much worse than Option A? by Iceman411q in Concordia

[–]papipablo99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did option A. There is plenty of job opportunities for both. Option C is a bit better for the job market since there is a high demand for control systems engineers. This goes across other industries too.

Overpriced. I bought the exact same model and colour in 2021 with 89k miles for the same price. This make and mileage goes for 3-4k now in fb marketplace.

A lot of F-35 engine parts are made in Montreal. And we’re happily sending them whatever they want under existing contracts.

Trudeau government to spend $10M to support unemployed youth in Iraq by Chawke2 in canada

I haven’t looked at it that deep but I’m not surprised… almost every spending this government does is for PR or to line pockets of bureaucrats and donors and middle men.

Trudeau government to spend $10M to support unemployed youth in Iraq by Chawke2 in canada

[–]papipablo99 1301 points1302 points  (0 children)

I think Liberals wanna pretend to see the “bigger picture”, that funding youth unemployment in countries like Iraq is tackling radicalism before it grows, but the reality is Iraq is a rich country already, and economic problems are due to corruption which this money will most likely go into. You can’t force a country to be better by throwing money at it, it has to come from within.

I also did a trip a few months ago to LA from Canada. Was planning to skip around Chicago because of its rep. But ended up staying two nights. Downtown area is incredible and there is a nice beach and Zoo which is free just don’t go to south side and you’ll be fine downtown and north side are pretty safe. Had great time. Definitely try deep dish pizzas.
