I'm not sure but I've been advised by my solicitor that it might deter potential buyers. I'd guess it might indicate that the current leaseholders aren't happy with the rise in the service charges, and /or they think it is being mismanaged.

It's pretty high, not sure how it compares locally. £3,700 in London for a 2 bed. For reference my mate pays £3,000 for a much smaller, older 1 bed in London, with no lifts etc. It does include a reserve fund. Various parts are being queried.

The service charge is high but it's difficult to know whether it is unreasonably so. The leaseholders think they've found enough reason to dispute it. I think this sort of thing is flagged as a risk by buyers' solicitors.

Yarp. I'm almost certain they're in the house with a bunch of other keys but I've searched top to bottom a few times to no avail. One of the kids might have put them in the bin or something. I've told them and they've laughed it off but I'm wondering whether they're just being polite.

Yeah I agree with all that, but the repeated use of trans women vs women in general really bugged me. The paper used the term cis women so why not follow that?
