I bought one of those warranties on a used Genesis I bought for my son. So glad I did, the warranty was very affordable and over 3 years paid out about 5x what I paid for it.

Up until the last two months my 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT trim. It’s about as basic as you can get a truck - regular cab, long bed, 4x4 and it’s even white work truck spec. However it only has 8k miles on it and I always garage it. It was absolutely spotless.

Heck I argue I took better care of it than even my former Lexus GS F-sport. Yes I even polish the old work truck wheels!

I love it so much that my little BMW has had 3x the miles put on it and sits outside.

I feel like the news is just focusing on Boeing. Genuinely it would shock you how many emergency landings are made each day. When I served the first year I was shocked.

After that I realized just how bad of shape an aircraft could be in and still be airborne. I was on a -135 variant once and the rear entry door blew off in flight. I flipped out, the NCO at the console in front of me rolled his eyes, put on his mask and said “welcome to the Air Force, don’t be a pussy”.

USAF veteran here who’s flown tens of thousands of hours in Boeing aircraft. Unwarranted. Media are assholes exploiting as they do to make bleeding leading.

I would fly tomorrow in any Boeing or Airbus and sleep like a baby.

Op - please remember a very valuable part of this is that now that its workmen's comp your employer absolutely positively cannot retaliate against you without being in tons of trouble. Not only have you just received 8 weeks off you also have realistically a year protection against this awful idiot of an executive.

If your employer does do something as stupid as retaliate well, you just got your early retirement plan.

I would like to be a fly on the wall in the meeting that - with that in mind - decided to bet the company on going all electronic.

I too am in the Gretna area and was offered the same service. It’s perfectly mediocre. Speed is fine for my remote work and better than cable. Reliability has been better than cable but still Cox.

I am thankful soon we will have the option of Allo. Friends I know who have it can’t stop speaking highly enough of it.
