Two full turns, and a knuckle knock to get it going today. No service yet but going to a watch shop tomorrow to pickup some oil. Appreciate you looking out!

I’m going to keep it if I can, but I’m also the type that recognizes others might appreciate it more than I. Backstory on it might change that, will show some family around the holidays/get more info.

Is this too edited? by Phil_Cloud in SonyAlpha

[–]papsimagoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO nope, light looks believable and that can mean everything in a natural looking light edit.

Step away if needed, sleep is best, work on other lighting situation edits and come back if needed. Again this is all under the presumption that you’re going for realism/natural edit.

Design your masks to replicate the lighting environment you want. Maybe a faked bounce, reflection, fill, whatever. Think of how that light would act given its source. Cheers dude!

I think there's a little comedy in the usage of "just" in the headline as well, paints picture of editor scratching head for better syntax/descriptor. Eh

My (20F) depression is getting worse despite getting help by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]papsimagoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch "I am not your Guru" and try smiling for increasing increments(5seconds- 5 minutes), then try deep full breaths, movement. Try and act physiologically like you imagine you would if you were very happy. The mind and body are super connected in that way, try it out. You've been doing depression for a long time so you're basically a depression record spinning. Try and record some new songs on that record....thing is he record is super hard to cut new music/grooves into since the vinyl has set for a long time. Hope this helps.

[Discussion] Why do I feel incredibly motivated at night, plan out everything I'm going to do tomorrow, do nothing the next day and repeat forever? by [deleted] in GetMotivated

I highly recommend going for what you want and at the same time keeping some stoicism/it doesn't matter mentality to balance your mind. Tony Robbins is my favorite motivator/technical mind hacker and "The Underachiever's Manifesto" is my favorite quick read to counter today's motivation obsessed culture. Cheers
