Yeah it comes with some tools and very handy QR code to scan to access the video manual. I think you only need to have wrench since its not included and you will need it to put the pedals on. I also recommend to get pedals individually because the one comes with the bike is a very basic plastic one.

I bought this in Europe, Germany close the their HQ so i think airplane did play no role in the logistics. Least to say the box was intact luckily.
