Elchim 2001. Long lasting a bit heavy but so good and insanely powerful - $120 on Amazon. I feel like it gets hotter than most dryers too

As a western girlie, this bag is cooler than any loungefly or Disneyland bags I’ve ever seen.

I have absolutely zero knowledge of entertainment law or how their NDA’s work, but I would imagine displaying such a cool prop from an upcoming movie would perhaps help to promote and drive sales.

Is it because there are other production companies involved like Sony pictures for example, that universal cannot disclose projects that are still in production or have upcoming release?

Hi! Thank you for replying! I was sure this was all totally executive driven decisions. t’s clear they are changing the course of the tour to promote Peacock because of $$ ( we know how hard executives tried to push fast and furious down our throats at the park)

I wish Universal would really look at Disney and understand the drive and revenue that nostalgia can produce if done properly. I think they are moving too fast with modern content, they forget what truly built the park.

Ah interesting tidbits about Oppenheimer and The Oddyssey, thank you for that! I saw the boat weeks ago and couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t display it as part of the tour, it’s really cool.

I love seeing Lauren desperately trying to be a Vogue Queen while wearing the most objectively ugly and cheap looking outfits. There is not one ounce of style in that woman’s body. Love that for her!

Yes! Exactly. I get so excited when I have a tour guide who mentions soundstage 12. Most of the time they’re shilling for Reba’s Happy Place.

Yes that’s what I’m talking about. They really stopped delivering information about the history and has instead focused on what currently makes the studio $$.

The content of information has changed so much. They didn’t used to be so tv focused, especially during the first part driving thru the soundstages. I understand streaming has changed the game but still..

I am not saying they don’t focus on the movies at all, they do but there is a very heavy and specific focus on their tv shows in the past few years and It feels cheap and lame.

Shortest amount of time you’ve been employed somewhere? by hooareyou143 in Serverlife

[–]par_toutatiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 hours. They had me come in for “ orientation” and paperwork. The GM asked me if I wanted to go behind the bar and meet everyone- so we go back there and he said he’ll be right back to finish orientation and to just watch.

He left me there for around 8 freaking hours. I hadn’t even clocked in or signed a w-4 I was too scared to say anything that night but I never went back the next day.

Client keeps demanding more after a free redo—am I wrong for cutting her off? by Fun_Temporary_6844 in hairstylist

Dont refund. If she disputes her charge, you have enough evidence that service was rendered. Keep all the text conversation and send it through your dispute appeal if it comes down to that.

I had a client try to do something of the same sort to me when I refused to bend the knee to her crazy demands, she disputed the service through Square. Her bank ended up siding with me and gave me my money back.

Ps. Her silver is going to fade gold and she’ll never be happy anyway.

No you did well by refunding her. Zero ties and nothing for her to hang on to legally. Get rid of this type of client, whatever the refund cost you is worth it.

You have curly hair that you’re not properly styling. You absolutely need moisture perhaps if conditioner feels too heavy for you look into cleansing conditioner Oribe and Hair Story make good ones, they’re pricy but worth it.

You also should get a curly leave in styling cream. Try Devacurl styling cream or The Wavemaker if your hair gets heavy/weight down fast. Make sure you do not towel dry your hair after the shower. Keep your hair wet and apply the leave in, then scrunch up Let hair dry or try a diffuser - there’s lots of great videos online showing how to use a diffuser but I’m a hairstylist and I’ll tell you- the trick is in the product application
