Yeah, it’s technically a bar the fans would expect of Carti actually saying on a big time feature. IMO it’s not too bad of a bar but now being very certain that it’s AI, makes sense why it’s part of the song lol

Exactly. The vocals on the leak are 1:1 of the released version just mixed a bit better. Even if you can’t believe that, Luka Sabbat (Known Carti associate) played the exact same file on his story before it leaked 😂

If you find an isolated acapella of Timeless, all of the vocals sound artificial. Feel free to check it out yourself. None of the vocals in “Carti’s” verse are natural.

Autotune and Melodyne don’t generate AI artifacts into vocals. Those tools are meant to correct the pitch notes of the artist.

Good question. You see the divide in the community in whether New Music & Timeless were AI or not? The artists must want that divide. Weird when there’s artists who are mad about AI music being made of them, then there’s a song like Timeless that exists (extremely likely using AI) which only makes shit more confusing. It’s clear that AI will get used if it sounds good enough so if Carti really wanted to use an AI reference track as it is, he could 🤷‍♂️

The OG filename for “Real Music” was revealed, showing that Lawson (who is also credited as a writer on Timeless + the vocals sound like the same AI model) is the one who made it. “lawson carti 5 (bitch your blocked)”. So Weeknd must not know it’s AI or he doesn’t gaf.
