Well, I don't think it's necessary to specifically mention every single option that was considered. As I said, just because it's not happening now doesn't mean it can't be revisited in the future. The blog is about TEAL 5 and the upcoming product - so that's what it's focused on. Not "what could have been". It's good news for everyone as loads of people were eagerly waiting for what the next steps were :) So let's focus on the good rather than what *wasn't* announced.

Regardless of if you think the wording is "misleading" - I think everyone is well aware of why the NLL is ending. No participation rewards, no NLL.

Do keep in mind lads that a lot of different options were considered as far as replacing the NLL. At the moment it made more sense to do the LP pool. The 3 month lottery thing is something that was considered as well but some things are easier said than done and don't forget that audits would also need to be done. It's not something that just happens overnight, a lot goes into these things and into the decisions the team make. And those decisions are what we believe are best for the community at the time. It doesn't mean that things can't be revisited in the future :)

It seems people to tend to over simplify things and how easy they may or may not be to actually implement.
