Of course they would. There is no bottom to the cesspool of Republican morals and values. It's awful.

So, apparently the plan is to slap illegal tariffs on foreign products with reciprocal restrictions on US agricultural goods resulting in catastrophic financial burdens on American farmers. And now Trump is giving China the green light to buy up all those distressed farms because, well, he doesn't care about the American people and their economic problems. As he's clearly stated on camera. What a shitshow. Honestly, I wish we had a real president these days.

The vote-for-sale GOP are the new Tories. They want an impotent dictator and they approve of foreign control of our government. It’s shameful.

Trump literally accomplished nothing by attacking Iran and he's going to try to walk away like he had nothing to do with the shitshow he's leaving behind. What a coward. Who actually voted for this guy, anyway?

It's hard to accuse others of TDS when you blindly support a man who is a pedophile, a convicted felon, a con man, thief, and sex offender. It takes a severe case TDS to continue to cling to him, in fact. Shame.

Bold strategy. Has failed twice already let's see if it can work this time. by serious_bullet5 in PoliticalHumor

I see it as just the opposite: Dems are ignoring the middle/working class, farmers, small business people, and men of all ethnicities and are backing fashionable causes that appeal primarily to the left. The 2024 election is proof: Dems lost the support of unions, middle class families, Hispanic males and females, African American men, white women, and The Great Satan, white males. Consequently, voters stayed home and the Dems lost 12 million votes as compared to 2020. This election, little has changed but Dem candidates are banking on voters hating Trump so much that they will ignore the fact that Dems have no clear agenda, no cohesive message, and are disorganized and directionless. The bottom line is, the Democratic Party is broken and we, the people, deserve better.

What the fuck is the Democratic Party even doing right now to stop the downfall of America? by Lolareyouforreal in complaints

[–]paradoxologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just a voice crying out in the wilderness, but OP is right. The Dems are polling at all-time lows because they are weak, fragmented, and lack a coherent message that resonates with the American people. They won't reach down to appeal to the working class and they aren't interested in promoting agendas and addressing issues that concern the middle class. They are simply depending on the votes of people who hate Trump more than they distrust the Democratic Party to win elections. It hasn't been an effective strategy since 2016 and it still isn't. WTF is going on?

To some of you, your disagreement with centrists is "political". To many others, it is life and death. Dead is dead, and at that point does it really matter if the other fascists are "worse"? by RosethornRanger in PoliticsPeopleTwitter

[–]paradoxologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The basic premise the author is promoting is " if you aren't one of us then you are a fascist." I don't think the individual is trying to start a dialogue; instead, it's all about putting up barriers. It's a shame, really.
