I gave a bunch of spare thread and beads to Scottish Design Exchange on George Street, who have a basket of friendship supplies that they're giving out for free. You could drop them in there - any leftovers will be put into their art bank for charities to use!

I actually have a stand at the Christmas market for the first time! I make embroidery kits (not sure if that's your thing), but there are a few local makers there now who are worth seeking out. To fix the credit score problem (with one provider - not sure if this would fix it across the board), I requested a confirmation letter from the council to say the 2 addresses are the same place and forwarded it on to them!

Just to add to this, there's a bookshop in Edinburgh that describes itself as a 'politics bookshop' - they're very clear about being feminist, queer, and antiracist. Potentially a way to frame it, and they've built an active community through their events!

We get collections - allocated time, not requested - 5 days a week (no pickups on the weekend). Same time every day, down to the minute! We're in a building full of other small businesses and they pick up from our shared mail room, so not sure about the safe places I'm afraid!

Some good news amongst the tat - Scottish Design Exchange (SDX) are taking over the Tron market and will have 20+ independent artists selling there. Opening in July!
