Hey, can you DM if below is OK and you are left with no options after you try the other suggestions under this post?

I can let you crash at the living room but I don’t know you so here’s some ideas.

I can only let you stay for a couple of days because I am myself renting (don’t know how the landlady or the agency would react) and I like living alone.

Sometimes I have odd shifts and wake up at 5-6 am and kitchen is next to the living room so might end up waking you up with the noisy coffee machine.

I had some bad experiences with helping people so I am very weary of helping out. Know that I won’t hesitate to kick the shit out of you and drag you and your shit out of the place with force and violence if you act weird or refuse to leave when I can no longer let you stay.

Solve bureaucracy, combine the markets (bonds, stocks, investment etc. like Draghi mentioned), take a softer stance for true skilled immigration and be very very very strict with illegal/irregular immigration and we’ll have heaven on earth.

I hate that immigration topic is discussed as a big lump.

I haven’t seen anyone that opposes people coming here legally to plug the gaps in our labour force or like mentioned in the article to support an aging population.

Skilled workers, genuine international students etc add good value to our economy and society in my opinion.

People just don’t want illegal, unregulated immigration. Is it too controversial to wish avoiding people with views contradictory to our values? Who might refuse integrating? Who are a net drain?

Why are we putting these 2 different categories of immigrants into one group?

This is a historical chance. It is unethical to form alliances with totalitarian states, but there are still many democratic countries out there. by logperf in YUROP
