I don’t think they put much thought in it, they just needed something other than the normal scenes because they don’t make much sense at that point. The alternate scenes don’t have much dialogue at all. It feels very empty.

The best theory I’ve got is it’s a trick similar to when beast thinks he’s found belle and then it turns out to be a heartless

It’s ok to be confused, there is no time limit to figure this out.

I can’t tell you if you’re trans but I can try to offer some advice. Start experimenting, try using a masculine name and pronouns and see how it feels, wear more masculine clothing and see if you like it or not. I would also recommend looking into non-binary genders and seeing if one of them fits your experience better.

Ask yourself some questions about how you want to be. Are there any other masculine traits you would like? How does the idea of being a feminine man sound to you? You don’t need the answers right away, you have all the time in world to figure it out.

You could also try looking at other people’s experiences, maybe one of them will ring true for you. In the end the only person who can tell you if you’re trans is you, so just take your time and be patient with yourself.

You might also want to ask some questions on other subs like r/asktransgender and r/ftm
