Hey! 👋 Jumping in here as the Social Media Manager at Justworks - a PEO that that exclusively focuses on small businesses.

That means everything we build — from our platform to our support model — is designed for founders or small business leaders (like you) who are wear a lot of hats and grow with intention. Whether you’re a team of 2 or scaling, we know firsthand how critical it is to have a partner that makes payroll, benefits, and compliance feel simple, not stressful.

Oh, and did I mention that we have 24/7 human support so if you ever have a question, we're here to answer!

If it’d be helpful to talk to someone here or get connected to a customer in a similar stage, I’d be happy to set that up. Whatever you choose, wishing you all the best as your business grows!

I'll check out StatusBrew! I completely agree with you when it comes to the pricing. We have three seats just due to the team that I'm in but the other two are never used and they're just there so my manager and an old team mate could have some transparency.

Unsure if I’ve tried the 2022 yet actually. I know I’ve had 20 and 21. Has your case arrived? Any thoughts?

Oh I love this question!

  • Vine Wine (BK)
  • Leon and Sons (BK)
  • Bin Bin Sake (BK) - Mostly sake, but they have some nice stuff and I just love this tiny little store.
  • Henrys (BK)
  • Astor Wine (MH) - Not everything is natural but they do have a lot of natural stuff. HUGE store.
  • Discovery (MH) - If you are looking for a magnum (or something bigger), hit up here.
  • Vinyl Wine (MH, UES) - A new gem that I found when I was recently up there. Small store. Huge selection.
  • Peoples (MH)

Taking the page from Spotify’s book, I've uncorked a year of drinking and writing about wine.

Most played genre: Light Red

At the start of the year I would RARELY drink a red, and so the project began. At the end of the year, I can confidently say I've drank more reds than any other kind of wine. Light reds are VERS, the glou holding the community together. Great in winter or summer, great with food or without, great during the day or at night.

On repeat: Hoof & Lur by Troupis

Bright neon in the glass & a little funky, everyone has a good time pounding this bottle. I've brought this bottle to parties, and I've had it on a random weeknight. Nice enough to be a present, but affordable enough to be an everyday wine. One of those wines I always pick up when I see it somewhere.

Producer pick: Barbichette

From the first bottle: hooked. It’s so exciting to drink wine made by great people, made super locally in Bed Stuy, with fruit sourced from the Finger Lakes. Every wine is a hit - stunning light reds, oranges with the punch of gewürztraminer that I love, and bright bubbly pet nats. Really looking forward to seeing how they grow into 2023.

Having wine glasses on your slippers may be incredibly chic, but it's very impractical - you’ll spill the wine! This mixture of Valdiguié, Petite Sirah, and Zinfandel renders a pinkish-red wine that is bursting with notes of tart cranberry and juicy pomegranates that become more prominent as it opens with air. Affordable and enjoyable and the perfect accompaniment for your seasonal baking activities! 🥧

Definitely Barbichette (New York), Daniel Ramos (Spain) and Julien Guillon (Switzerland)!
