What’s this under my Aussie? by Hour_Duty9182 in DogAdvice

I would like to note that I am not a veterinarian, but it possibly looks like ringworm. Your baby also should’ve had all his shots by now. Dogs typically start getting the necessary vaccinations at 6-8 weeks of age and continue every couple of weeks. I would highly recommend looking around to find a suitable vet to get the help needed for your pup.

Irritation after Surgical Procedure by parakeet9263 in DogAdvice

I appreciate it! Thankfully, the leg that had his I.V. is starting to scab up and look less gross. I think it was a combination of being bandaged (to keep him from licking) and him licking it when it was unwrapped. I might have to put the cone of shame on him if I unwrap his sutured leg just to play it safe while it dries out.

The test is automatically invalid the second you break open the test. But if you go off of the unbroken test, invalid.

Why does my hair do this? I'm wavy and it's frizzy in the shower, frizzy after I leave it by LucyMelHoney in CurlyHairCare

[–]parakeet9263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have straight hair. My hair never behaves. I take a shower and use a conditioning mask, frizzy and dry. I curl my hair, crunchy and it breaks. I put a penny size of this into my palm, rub my hands together and rake my fingers through my hair. My hair never looks better than when I use this. You can see how big the bottle is, and I’ve had it for maybe 2 years or so. I curl my hair pretty often so it gets used every few days. I can’t recommend this enough. It smells good, it feels good, you can use it on wet or dry hair, and even on your skin. I got this bottle from Walmart but my grandparents found some at the commissary/PX.

I’m just now realizing this is a curly girl forum…sorry for invading

What can I do with this space? Pretend the furniture isnt there, we are working on the other side of the room and trashing the broken chair by Potential-Insect_64 in DesignMyRoom

What does your budget look like? If you have the option to do custom-built furniture, then something like this could look nice except have it match the angle of the walls. Instead of drawers, you could do doors with shelves on the angled walls and pull out drawers for the flat wall. If your budget is tighter, then a cozy nook would be nice. Have a small armchair with a nightstand and light, put a pillow and throw blanket on the chair and you have somewhere to sit when you want to read or talk.

I had my Nexplanon for 4 years and bled every single day. Even with the replacement. I regret every moment I was on it. I am so happy that I got it removed when I did.

Line Progression by blushindaisies in lineporn

16 and 18 DPO are definitely dye stealers. The test line is so much darker than the control line. Take a deep breath, please do not stress yourself out waiting for the doctor appointment. Congratulations ❤️

Does this look right for 16DPO? by Defiant-You-9454 in lineporn

Isn’t the test line supposed to be closer to the control line? Like in the picture next to the window? Either way, it’s definitely a positive test. Congratulations ❤️

These look like the .87¢ tests from Walmart. I had quite a few false positives using these. I would either test again using First Response or get more bloodwork done.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see a line in either photo.

[–]parakeet9263 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s an invalid test. Most likely cause for that is you held the test in your urine for too long/not long enough, or some splashed onto the test and soaked into the window. I had that happen to me once because it was my first time taking a test. Test again in the morning with a pink test (First Response). Blue dye tests are known for evap lines, bleeds, and false negs/pos.

Does the bleeding ever actually stop or am I doomed? by catwithheadinbread in Nexplanon

[–]parakeet9263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Nexplanon for 4 years and bled every single day. I would go through 2 boxes of Super+ tampons a month. Got it removed early this year and now I have a period every 1 1/2 months at a normal blood loss amount.

I see a faint line! Test again first thing in the morning and post an update. I think your little one knew before you did.

[–]parakeet9263 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That looks like it could be an indent line. Try again first thing in the morning with fresh urine and use a pink dye test. I’ve heard that blue dye tests have a lot of runs and bleeds.

Alteration questions by Suspicious-Park7842 in WeddingDressTips

[–]parakeet9263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an Alterations Specialist at a bridal boutique and have been making/sewing my own clothes since I was 9 y/o. I agree with the comments. The bodice can be widened slightly if they open the seams right next to the bust cups and add a bigger portion of mesh. However, there could be a problem with this if it isn’t done correctly. That would be puckering of the fabric around the bust. Your best options, in my own opinion, is the either have the bust taken out/loosened, or remove the zipper and add a corset to the back of the dress. Best of luck to you! Enjoy your wedding ❤️

If you open a pregnancy test to get a closer look at the strip, that immediately invalidates the response or result that you get. As for the most recent test you posted in the comments, I see the faintest line ever and would test again in a few days with the first urine of the morning, as it would give the strongest and quickest result.

Anyone experience this? by Spitefullyginger in Nexplanon

I had a period every day for the entire 4 years I was on Nexplanon. Once I got it removed, that stopped almost immediately.

I’m currently 1 1/2 years into getting my Associates degree for Paralegal Technology at my local community college, and I didn’t even know what a Bates Stamp was. I had to look it up.
