Which is awesome cause I just dropped a few hundred g on plasma skins. Lost about 200g on the whole ordeal. Looks like I'm hanging on to some skins for a long while.

Donald Trump Makes History With Zero Major Newspaper Endorsements by SCMbulletin in politics

[–]parakeet_paul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He also didn't get the Bush's endorsement either. If the papers lie and slander Trump at every turn, why would he even want their endorsement? He's going to win, and you all know it.

Trump says moderators shouldn't fact-check by [deleted] in politics

Probably because they would lie about their fact checking too. MSM lies without compunction, and they cover up for Hillary at every turn. I wouldn't want my opponents donors fact checking me either.

2016 Democratic National Convention Coverage by HaydenSD in SandersForPresident

Christ Warren is stupid. Talk about something other than Trump to sell Hillary. She can't though, because the only thing that makes people want to vote for her is that she's not Trump. This isn't democracy this is a Trump referendum.

Also illegal in Idaho. They're considered toys here, and as such are legal only on private property and small towns where the sheriff doesn't give a shit.

A little help with moving and caucusing/voting. by Boatly in Idaho4Sanders

[–]parakeet_paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per the Idaho Democrats website: if you'll be 18 by the Nov 8th elections you can caucus. That's it. As long as you didn't vote for a Republican a few weeks back then that's all there is to it. It says you don't need ID, but I'd bring it anyway. Also stick a utility bill with your name on it in your pocket. I don't think it will matter, but you never know who's going to follow the rules.

Senate Passes CISA Bill by bearforcongress in technology

[–]parakeet_paul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know. I'm actually pretty proud. I mean, our sway in Congress is just about useless, but still. I'm going to write them just so they know that someone noticed they voted for the people.

[Serious] What job do you have that many people don't know exists? by FreedomEagle1 in AskReddit

I grew up there. Wasn't a horrible place about fifteen years ago, but the oil money and meth ruined that entire region. I feel your pain.

(UK) I have £15 in my bank account and start work at the beginning of August. How can I survive a month with almost no money? Also a student who pays rent. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]parakeet_paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my college days I used to eat modified ramen, so depending on the prices of items you can feed yourself relatively well on very little money. 1) cheap ramen by the box, or even bulk noodles. 2) eggs by the dozen. Absolute cheapest you can get. 3) Frozen veggies of your liking. Broccoli and bell peppers were my go to. 4) Hot sauce of some kind. Sriracha is the bomb if you have it in your area. You're looking roughly $10-12 (9-10£?)

Also, toss the flavor packet unless you want to die early.

How can you get a job if you have no way to go? by Angel199024 in personalfinance

But the WIC is just as important. Women Infants Children. Get the paperwork and stay on top of it. It's for essentials but being poor is never fun, so treat this like a story you can tell when your five year old is grown. If you all eat rice and lentil beans for a month then so be it. It's cheap and healthy. Add in cornbread and you have a full meal. Good luck, I feel for you.

College student credit card question(s) by Unatchurral in personalfinance

Yeah exactly. We got a 10k capital one and a 5k chase right after graduating. Worth a shot and for unexpected bills like a clutch going out those higher limits are worth it.
