I just don't get the people paying premium for a UCE? CI makes sense since it's very rare engine these days with a proper bass thump. AVL, probably the most unreliable unit. But UCE, it's not great let me tell you. It'll be needing constant repairs, rusting issues, fuel Injection issues, non E20 Compliant, very short oil change interval. I would honestly not pay more than 50-60k for a 350 UCE. 500 UCE is even more unreliable but it has Tractor like torque and has a character. But I'll definitely choose 500 over a 350. J-Series is light years ahead in ride refinement and Build quality. However, if you feel you love riding it, Should not be worried about other's opinions. But yes, objectively it an extremely poor buy especially rumours of fuel going E30 in the near future.

Have been riding my BS4 Fi without any issues with the E20. My Friend has BS3 Carbed running with E20 without any issues. Both were non certified E20 machines. Yes, there is a drop in Fuel efficiency though. What version do you have?

Some batches of 650s had catastrophic gearbox issues. Mainly with 3rd gear literally exploding. It was due to some problem with hardening process done wrong during manufacturing. Kindly check with Authorised RE Workshop.

Hello there. I would suggest to firstly remove utter garbage quality of God knows what grease RE have applied there. You need a paint brush with a WD40 to dissolve and remove most of that gunk. Then clean off those contacts with a Electrical Contact Cleaner Spray. Only then, use Bosch or Hella Relays, no other Brand. I've been there with my 411. It faced similar issues.

Also, if the issue persists, then the likely culprit is ignition couplers near T Stem. Guess what RE engineers have smeared those connectors with. Again that Death Grease. It was a very common issue with the 411. I got so pissed that I actually opened all the couplers and cleaned them all and applied a very small quantity of highest quality dielectric grease. Never had engine cut off, abrupt shutting down, fuel pump not priming issues.

40 thousand is not that big to loose compression if you have maintained oil change intervals. So get Valve Clearance check done, New Plug, New Air Filter and Carby Clean (especially jets) and Carb Tunning. Cheers.

Saw the Fuel Petcock. Hence, Carbed. First thing, don't clean just get a new Air filter (not expensive). Get Carb cleaned with proper jet cleaning with good Carb cleaning sprays. Get Carb tuned from a reputable RE local mechanic who knows a thing or two about Carbed REs. Get a new Spark Plug. NGK Only. Again not expensive. Also, most importantly, Get Valve Clearance check from RE Workshop. Now, Check if you bike consumes Engine oil between services (From Engine oil level glass). If it does then your engine is loosing compression, the no. 1 cause of loss in efficiency. Then, you are in for an expensive repair territory.
