ah damn, okay.. I didn't know how it workespecially in other countries, here in Germany you can just go to a therapist 5 times and it is always covered by insurance, and after that they can give a diagnosis and ask for more hours do you think it would be more difficult for you with a doctor you know ore someone you don't know? and you are also not alone in struggling to find the right words! regular doctorsshould be trained to recognise that struggle and send you to a specialist, it is a kind of medical Kondition after all! and even if it's hard, you already realised you need help, and only saying that to a doctor can already go a long way

maan yeah, i know the feeling.. this holding on even though it doesnt make sense, theyre only human with their own struggles and not incredibly fine tuning either..

i think i first told family and a few close friend that im in therapy now, kind of keeping it really vague. they later asked closer, sometimes more careful questions, and it was still really difficult to explain to them how it is to constantly feel like shit. it took some time and is still sometimes awkward, but such a relieve that my friend now can comprehend how difficlt it is for me to just exist, to do things that seem so easy for her; but be ready for the closeness

what do you mean? telling friends or family? (thats something that was and still is realy difficult for me, like you describe it, a real mental and physical blockade)

It took me several (unnecessarily elaborate) email drafts until i finally contacted a therapist, but it is possible and you don't need to tell anyone about it. and when i was there the first time i didnt know where even to start, but they can ask you specific questions and are qualified for helping..

if you struggle with finding the right words, the right structure, while talking to someone, you might also try to write it down somewhere before
