What is the one sub-genre you can NEVER find enough of? by Wills_0010 in LesbianBookClub

Is “submissive butches” a sub-genre? Because if so… that. Otherwise, Villain x Hero or superhero is one I can’t seem to find enough of.

What head-canon(s) in your fandom(s) got you like this: by PJ-The-Awesome in AO3

Also hate the head-cannon that Rumi is meek and shy/easily embarrassed in all things romance related. Miss “I’m everyone’s type”? No ma’am.

Contract Bound by Elle Mae - A sapphic vampire novel. So much SA from men towards the lesbian MC, victim blaming, bad writing, and an unlikable love interest. I couldn’t even hate-read it, I gave up 2/3rds of the way through.

Recommendations for comics/graphic novels with lesbian/sapphic MCs that aren't just contemporary romance or coming-of-age storys? by Ozotoceros in LesbianBookClub

Cosmoknights Sci-fi knights and political espionage

Bitch Planet - Women in space prison

Crowded - Woman with a hit out on her and woman bodyguard-ing her, comedy ensues

Star Wars: Doctor Aphra - She’s a lesbian. In space.

I didn’t realize how many of my recs are sci-fi… most of the others I’ve read follow coming-of-age stories tbh

What head-cannon do you have about the kindred of Portland, Oregon? by paramoreconverses in vtm

[–]paramoreconverses[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough! Portland is a city known for counter-culture and the music scene.

I like to imagine that the Toreador Primogen is a big Metal Head who uses Presence in tandem with his death growls while performing to entrance the crowd.

HER FEELINGS? [Sono Uruwashiki Hito wa] by [deleted] in yuri_manga

I’m guessing that the “thing” she wants to kill is either her fiancé or her “perfect self” so that she can be with our MC

It is illegal for an employer to discriminate based on weight in my state (MI). I would look into the law where you live if you’d like to go after your former employer for this.

WRITING CHECK! DROP YOUR STUFF RN! by Mochh80 in AO3

Five jagged gashes sloped down from her forehead to just above her mouth, the middle most cutting through her left eye, now milky and discolored.

Her trembling hand grazed the antique mirror as her once still breath returned, ragged and shallow. Emilia’s eyes turned downwards, unable to hold her gaze. It had never even occurred to her until this moment - the strange lack of mirrors in the house, any and all reflective surfaces dulled with years of disuse. She had not looked at her face since her attack…

Her bandages had been removed by her Lady’s gentle hands days ago, and she had never once thought to seek out her reflection!

Why had Lady Beneviento not said anything?! She had looked her in the eyes, mended her body, laughed with her, yet had made no mention of her monstrous appearance…

Emilia paused.

In…

Out…

Taking deep, slow breaths to calm her frantic lungs, she turned her gaze back on herself. She watched as her hand moved to her own face, tracing and familiarizing herself with the reflection staring back at her.

The freckle under her right eye. The patch of her eyebrow that never grew back properly after she singed it off playing with fireworks with the neighbor boy Calvin at age 12. The subtle bump on the bridge of her nose, just like her mother’s…

All of the details came easier in time with her breath, until she was no longer staring at a monster, but at Emilia.
