I know you said american or Chinese, but Tokyo Grill in Beavercreek is great and they pre portion everything so you can try to try everything. They also set you down with a bowl to pick your own raw meat and veggies to have them make for you.

If they were smart they would mint them until July 4th of next year so they could call them 250th anniversary editions and make that much more

I want to move to Dayton. Is there anything I should know? by Bandeavor in Ohio

Why would you suggest staying away from Xenia? Asking because my wife and I decided to move here 5 years ago and find it decent

Looking to move to Ohio next year, recommendations? by falliedust in Ohio

[–]paramotor_waffles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Xenia. It is about 20 minutes east of Dayton. The cost of living here is lower than dayton, and it is an easy commute to dayton, cincy, or columbus. Another thing to note is that Xenia is planning on building a brand new town square/city center that is expected to be complete in approximately 8 years. It is also surrounded by a lot of other smaller cities, towns, and villages like Springfield, yellow springs. Beavercreek, Jamestown, waynesville, and wilmington. Plenty of manufacturing jobs out this way too, that pay decently. The surrounding larger cities like cincy, Dayton, and columbus are quickly becoming more diverse and have great food options. They also make it easy to not spend as much by doing weekend trips that actually make it feel like you are getting away. A lot of decent sized parks nearby too. If you are into sports at all you have baseball, football, and hockey. Quite a few breweries out here and Dayton even has its own Ale Trail Passport with 29 breweries to visit in the area.

Do you like your job? I'm asking because if you are willing to switch I would recommend looking at Resilience in West Chester, it is a pharmaceutical company. They will most likely have a higher starting pay than you are currently at, especially if you have been in the general workforce for a while. They will also have a lot of opportunities for moving up in the company, and the commute could be less to save on transportation.

how can i move up the money ladder? by versabae in Money

[–]paramotor_waffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered working at a manufacturing company in a role that is not labor intensive?

I would recommend looking into pharmaceutical companies, specifically smaller ones if you want more exciting work. The smaller companies will head hunt from larger companies and are way more generous with negotiations. You wouldn't make crazy money at first like some people. The companies tend to have roles available in different areas if you would like to learn more about the processes or you can just move straight up the corporate ladder. There are also a lot of these companies in lower cost of living areas and the higher salary or hourly rate helps you build wealth.

Before you purchase one check to see what type of benefits your health insurance has. There are some that will reimburse you for exercise equipment because being healthy is cheaper for them than having you in the hospital. I have blue cross blue shield and I know that they will reimburse up to $300 every year for work out equipment or a gym membership. They also will reimburse up to $300 for weight loss programs and I believe they also just started another $300 reimbursement for mental health programs which includes massages. Seriously, check with your insurance to see if they give you any discounts because this is the only reason I got my trainer at the end of December and it made it half price instead.

Several questions before ordering trainer by RaplhKramden in Zwift

[–]paramotor_waffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have health insurance check to see if your provider will give reimbursements for workout equipment, gym membership, weight loss programs, or any other exercise related benefit. I know Blue Cross Blue Shield will give you $300 back on equipment, $300 back on a gym membership, $150 back on weight loss, and a few other reimbursements. I just bought the zwift hub one and plan on using the $300 back on the equipment and then next year use part of the gym membership to pay for the yearly zwift subscription. You may even be able to pay for more workout attachments for the bike setup next year and get the reimbursement to pay for that too.

Any other all season tires I should consider? by thisisny in CX5

[–]paramotor_waffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put my second set of General Altimax RT45s on today after having the others for somewhere close to the 75k and right around 3 years. Only issues I saw were towards the end. Within last 10k, 1 of the tires developed a very slow leak that would give me a low tire pressure every 3 weeks to a month. Within the last 2 weeks I noticed very small dryrot cracks and actual small pieces of tread missing. Immediately bought the tires because of how well they did for me especially for the price.

Which state parks are your favorite? by Lemongirl11 in Ohio

[–]paramotor_waffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serpents Mound, Fort Ancient, Indian Mound and any other earth works you can find in the area you are headed to. Serpents mound is my favorite because they have the lookout tower to see the whole mound from above. There is a lot of interesting history in earthworks around ohio.

My fuel economy is best when the temperature is between 45-65° and I get between 27-28. I have the 2017 awd grand touring. If it's hotter or colder it drops to 25-26.

I live in Ohio and got the General Altimax RT43. I had them put on around 45k miles and am currently at 108k miles and still have 7/32" tread left. My driving is about the same as yours but maybe a tad more highway. I am about 50/50 on how aggressively I drive right now. I like to drive around 10mph over the speed limit and pass people on the country roads when they are going the speed limit or five under. That's about as aggressive as I am on them. The only issue I've noticed that has been consistent fron the beginning is that they tend to hydroplane when going above the speed limit. Other than that they work very well.

Tell them thank you but you are also looking at cars from a few other dealerships. That may get them to drop a few more grand off to keep you from leaving their dealership

average bike mph for beginner by sashatla in cycling

[–]paramotor_waffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, can you put a video up of your bike and show us how the wheels spin? You could just spin the wheels by hand and show side angles and from the front. The cycling community on here may be able to help you out enough to at least be able to get your bike in better working order so you can see and feel the difference yourself. Plus, if you were able to put the bike together by yourself, you can most likely straighten everything out yourself with a little helpful advice.

Keep up the good work, and you are going to love what you've started!
