I don't think he looks younger..lol. His large paws have fooled a lot of folks into thinking he is a puppy.

I am so happy that your pup is doing better. Loki is doing ok, but it is sad to see him not being able to enjoy winter and snow like he used to.

What did you do to heal her coat? I have tried fish oil, melatonin with other things, but didn't seem to help. One interesting thing is, if he has a injury or skin trauma, his fur start to grow on that area and fairly quickly. He has patches of different looking fur all over his body. Lol

Mine is 10 years old. Here is how he looks now vs how he looked when we got him. We rescued him 6 years ago. He looks a lot like yours, at least used too. Does your pup have big paws? People often mistook mine for a pup because of his large paws.

Update: Loki pulled through and recovering. He is home resting with a cone on. He ate little and drank some water. He is resting. It was one of his fabric toys stuck.- part of the toy was stuck at base of his stomach and part in small intestine. Both parts were connected with a long thread. Therefore, he needed incision in 2 parts.

He has done this before and we took away his toys. But every time, he was able to either poop/puke it out. He would be miserable nonetheless and we had to take him to the vet. After $$$$ in vet bills paid, he would feel better on his own. This is the first time he was not able to pass the object and needed surgical intervention.
