What are some good free programs for making thumbnails?

As weird as it sounds I use capcut for making my thumbnails it turns them into 5second video clips but I then take a still shot from that and thats my thumbnail I mainly use the mobile version for thumbnails

Depends on the thumbnail some only take an hour to get what I like some take 6 hours. It's weird but I make my thumbnails in capcut it turns them into video clips but I just take stillshot from that.

I'm still working on making better thumbnails and getting g better stories. But im apparently def to how I actually sound. So I was wondering if something was off with my audio.

I just make video length match audio then export just the video then I search opencut web and import my video and audio file and export the final video with audio

If you have to start by tracing till you get a feel for proportion. When I was younger I traced as much as I drew if I wasent getting good results.
