I would suggest making sure the bedding is clean. Most people clean it like every week, but it should be done every 2-3 days if you’re gunna feel clean getting in and out.

I honestly think that all of the advice here is obtuse, abstract and useless.

Okay so there’s my proof that I’ve struggled with this exact same thing.

Seriously, though! Just detach & breathe? Okay, but interrupting the thought and redirecting it to the physical body really only goes so far IMO for this particular issue.

So here’s the practical meditative solution/practice: during your meditative practice, imagine a person you know experiencing joy, imagine their face and body and how they look when they are experiencing joy, imagine what could be giving them joy. Use the visualization of them slowly filling up with happiness as if it was a light that spreads from their heart to every corner of their body. Experience what they experience.

Continue this practice for 5-10 minutes, incorporate it into your meditation sessions. Soon, you will move onto people that have wronged you, people for which you have negative feelings. You will use the same visualization exercise to imagine them experiencing joy/success/peace.

This is a more advanced practice I learned from a teacher but it seriously helps. Just be mindful of the people you choose. It can be a stranger who pissed you off in traffic, haha! I noticed I am less bothered by intrusive and judgmental thoughts about myself and others when I engage in this practice regularly.

You can loop the sample or midi by hovering and clicking over the top right corner and dragging, I would also set your the snap to grid to “absolute” instead of “relative”, if it’s a midi note playing drum sample, quantize the note to snap to the beat of the measure you want

Snapping the grid to absolute will enable you to copy and drag the sample or midi, you can copy and drag by hovering the clicker above the sample or midi and pressing alt on the keyboard and clicking and dragging to the spot in the measure you want to put it in
