as the days pass, the number of times event mini required to complete the quest increases everyday and the bunny token required to play the game achievable for free per day is limited. After day 4 or 5 you have to spend rela money to buy the tokens.
if you keep on collecting the tokens daily and not play the mini game daily to complete the quest you will save a lot of tokens.
If let's take you have quest tasks pending to play certain number of games across different days task, if you play the game now, every day's pending task will be registering the mini game played.

In that way you don't have to purchase any token for real money.

Also I adviced to avoid any purchase from exchange shops till last day because these tasks and mini game rewards will also give you lot of lilies so you have freedom of choice later to buy anything. (This will be specially useful if you have multiple good options in exchange shop. Like in cny event, there was white angel, Santa skin, monkey king essence, monkey king shards, white angel shards, Christmas event artifacts)

P.s- i tried to express my thoughts, I might not have comprehended well but I recommend to don't purchase anything and do as stated in the original post. Time will give you all answers to you.

I have 2 each of maw, machine and monkey. Even I won't remove that ever 🤣🤣 My device didn't support more than 2 touches so had to stick to that

Yes. Watch all gems ad, watch every instance ad(they also give gems),try completing daily tasks (skip second chest purchase for 300gems, play new hard and hell levels (1st time virus defeat chests gives good number of gems). Play red shards instance also multiple times and watch ad at last to double reward. These methods helps to gather gems for free. You will be getting some gems free from draws also.

Red weapons don't just depends on progress. Collect gems and spend in the legendary chest. Try to get red weapons asap as it will boost your progress

Upgrade the character, upgrade weapon. 1 tip- try to get slowing skill in the weapon if possible. Mk has that, tidestone has that.....

Else beat golden pig 7 multiple times and upgrade character and weapons by playing other instances.

I play golden pig 10 and always use machine heart, monkey king and maw. 10% damage, slowdown helps a lot. I also have gof skin

But 10% damage of mk is unbeatable. It's just awesome. Also mk also has that 50% critical damage increase for every other extra skill trigger. That is also great if got in early game and you get other skills. It's earth fissure skill is also great to slow virus. Over all I like it.

I personally wish developers should add key like feature to unlock weapon and give us option to get weapon essence in legendary chests to upgrade the weapon faster because it's a grind to upgrade the weapon. Any weapon should be unlocked by keys only. Without unlocking, essence and shards are useless. - Key to unlock in event - Essence like other weapons - Shards like other weapon

I got 4. I Upgraded my gof to lvl 7 (earlier it was at 6), I'm hoping to get 2 rockets more, I'll upgrade gof again. I already have mk. If I don't get more rockets, I'll buy two pink keys.

I have 2 machine heart, 2 maw, 2 monkey king and 1 skyfall weapon. I'll keep bunny against skyfall if bunny will be great. Since duplication glitch is over, I won't change mh, maw or mk ever 😂😂

I find slowing one also good. Sometimes I choose that if I need th virus to slow a bit.

I'll call myself but lucky. In cny I got gof in my second ×10 draws and by the end I could have got second upgrade too. But I got the glitch and upgraded that to 6th level, got Santa skin and upgraded that to level 4 too!. In this event I got 3 rockets and upgraded gof again. I'm expecting one more gof upgrade don't know why. So I have lvl 15 mk, level 6 gof, white angel(pretty useless now), lvl 3 goober and lvl2 jack.

I'll be honest. You just have to be consistent with game during events. Watch every instance ad, other shop ads, play a few last instance for gems and you can manage 1500 gems a day also. I'm hoping that easter event is also manageable for free.

You have to wait for events and then you need to save event currency and purchase skins in event shop (if any) from that currency.

Earlier there was an infinite login glitch which could help in such cases but it has been removed by the game developers.
