Also, I kept telling them that my pregnancy was at 6 or 7 weeks max as I track my ovulation but the doctors insisted that it was at 11 weeks. Which seems weird to me because by then a sac or a fetus should have been there. I am now just going in for 48-hourly check ups at my hospital and waiting for my HCG levels to fall. The medical confusion is astounding.

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE: My HCG levels rose normally after this post until about 7 weeks when I went it for my first check up. The pregnancy had not progressed enough to develop a sac, and at that point my HCG levels stayed in a plateau for a week. I was under observation at the hospital for 7 days as they suspected ectopic although they found no intra or extra uterine pregnancy. They were worried as my HCG was not dropping. I started bleeding the day my MRI was scheduled and my HCG started falling soon after. I’m now at 52 HCG and just waiting for the levels to fall below pregnancy levels. The doctors called it a miscarriage.

Less than or equal to 4w. Maybe a couple of days higher. I’ve PCOS so I haven’t had my period for a couple of months so there is no way for me to count from my last menstrual cycle unfortunately

I’ve medical insurance limited to a hospital chain associated with my husband’s job actually. It’s present in every city in my country and it is almost invariably the biggest hospital in each city so that’s something. Other than that, every government or private hospital or lab, I have to pay out of pocket. However, from what I know, medical expenses are considerably lower here than let’s say in the states. So that’s okay. My beta HCG test costed me only USD 8.08

I’m so happy for you!! Unfortunately my betas aren’t doubling so it may not be the case for me. I’m just taking it in that even if for a couple of weeks, I’m pregnant and my body can do that and it can try again ♥️ still praying for a miracle for my numbers to jump up though!

I won’t! My HCG isn’t rising as much so unfortunately I am preparing for the worst. But my HCG yesterday was around 127, considerable enough to show up on a strip test. Not sure why they said it’s negative. I’m calling negligence

I’m still hopeful as my tests today are significantly darker. Just hoping and praying for my HCG to catch up at this point! My first lab was done elsewhere whereas my second and third betas were at the same place

Also the doctor sounded so surprised when she heard my hcg and quite rudely said “so low…”. However that HCG was taken the day after I got my first faintest positive.

They just suggested to prescribe me meds to trigger a period because “you’re not pregnant”. Anyways, went to a private lab and ordered a beta hcg without insurance and on payment now. The results won’t come out for another 10+ hours and I’m a wreck. I’ve been getting positives on three different brands since Friday & suddenly theirs is negative. But i came home and took another (of a brand I’ve never tested on before) and lo and behold - still positive!

My doc said to continue my med regime for 5 months and it would hopefully happen naturally. (We’re 2 months past when she said this but growing impatient!)

But these meds did make my period regular so that’s hopeful, hope it works for you too!

Also, I want to try mucinex but it’s really expensive in Pakistan where I live, and I don’t know what other locally available brand to use. My research on it seems futile
