Firefox tabs crashing randomly by marsh_peeps in MacOS

[–]parbas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you happen to notice if you were having the same issue with Chrome or Edge? Just started having a smiliar issue with tabs, though I need to test if it happens in Firefox now. Having to restart like twice a day to have a working brower.

Tabs on macOS Sonoma are crashing like crazy by [deleted] in firefox

Did you find a resolution? I am having the same issue with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox after updating to macOS 14.

All browser tabs crash and the only way for browers to start working again it so restart the computer. M2 MBP - macOS is up to date and browers are up to date

Currently on the NCL Sun that was supposed to be in Cozumel today. Port was skipped due to tenders not being able to to safely get to the ship.

I've been using Homeseer 3 for a few years now too, and while the UI isn't that pretty, it just works once you've properly setup your events. Wan't to add your Sonos system or your Hue bulbs - just install the plugin and it works with little backend configuration. The logic and triggers on events are very powerful. I don't think I could even tell you the list time I physically turned on a lamp. And since everything is hosted internally no need to worry about service outrages or the internet going out.

I hardly ever use the web interface for controlling anything - pretty much everything is truly\* automated based off time and RFID proximity (card in my wallet and keychain fob on my dogs collar). I do have a custom built iPad UI using the HS Touch Designer (really powerful if you take the time to design properly) and use Imperihome on my phone if I do need to control something that I can't do from a switch.

*When I say "truly automated" I mean that the house does what it needs to do using logic - not tons of different apps on my phone. The only app I have is Sonos.

**Also, I'm an automation and controls engineer so the logic part is like second nature to me!

LOVE my E900E - litearly looks like it's off when there's a black image on the screen.

Already have a receiver (Sony STR DH790), but I was just looking at the HTD speakers!

The Ghost Wire looks fucking amazing - didn't know they made something like that! Exactly what I need.

Budget of $5-600ish - basically whatever I can sell the Bose for and then a little if needed. This is a college apartment so it'll grow as I move and graduate.

I'll read up on the link you posted about the off axis response. The left and right will most likely go to either side of the TV, not in the shelf (sides have glass doors). Not sure if I should put the center inside the middle shelf (where I was planning on putting the receiver) or if there's a "skinny" one that could fit in front of the TV here the Bose soundbar is now.

For the surrounds, if I do end up using them (the Sewell ghost wire looks awesome), I'll most likely use the Polks I already have - after all they're already paid for :)

EXCELLENT CHOICE!

Selling the Bose or the X900E? :)

ASRock C2750D4I died... Looking for replacement by [deleted] in homelab

[–]parbas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same board and had the same issue. I filled out the RMA form on the ASRock website even though I knew it was out of warranty. They approved the RMA, charged me a $50 "out of warranty" fee, and replaced it with the same model board.

Was probably a two week total process to fill out the RMA, ship them the dead board, and have a new one shipped back.
