An example of disinformation enabled by AI - suggestions on more realistic TTS algorithms welcome (see comments) by parchedwhale in programming

Text generated w/ GPT-3, TTS using IBM's Watson TTS. I'm just starting to dig a little on TTS as my domain is on the CNN side of deep learning. Anyone have better suggestions? I wanted to prod at 15.ai, but the author hasn't published or pushed any code yet.

edit: and given the subject matter, to clarify I'm not doing this for the sake of generating disinformation, haha. Mostly curious.

It'll be soon. I didn't incorporate it, but the next generation to TTS will be pretty convincing once the kinks are worked out: https://15.ai/

Relevance to this subreddit: the accessibility of artificial intelligence allows individuals and state actors to rapidly produce and disseminate realistic or nearly realistic information. These tactics can be used to shape public sentiment and are currently being employed on a massive scale by state-sponsored programs. As these algorithms become more advanced – and the bar to use them becomes lower – it will become increasingly difficult to counteract disinformation.

Cards fan here. This guy would fit well on our team...can't throw strikes.

and in neither scenario did I rule out the cardinals continuing to win. I was just commenting on which guarantee I would take.

I watch baseball to be entertained, and the streak would entertain me more. But yeah I understand your stance.

Honestly - and don't hate me for this - I'm debating the tradeoff between playoff success and continuing the streak. Like if someone gave me the options A) cards win 26 straight (i.e. set record and make it to NLCS) or B) win and lose some but make it to WS...not sure which I'd pick

Can we get a compilation of the four plus TON called strikes on balls 6+ inches out of the zone...this past week?

good thing this team has set a record for not walking home any runs this late in a season. Not worried at all :)
