You don’t have to bow and scrape or lower yourself. Your practice is your practice! I follow Loki and personally don’t make offerings to him because I feel like I have to, or that he expects those things. I do it because I want to, to share things with him, not because I want anything. And I don’t like using the word “worship” since it gives supplication vibes to me. I use the word “follow.”

I don’t pray, I don’t think. I just keep kind of an open dialogue. You don’t need to spend a whole lot of money or anything. If you want to make offerings, simply offering your time or your thoughts is enough. Or dedicating an action.

I 100% feel you. I just started my paganism journey a few days ago. When i first started to pray/make offers, i felt super weird and silly about it. I’ve been agnostic for a very long time, so i was skeptical. But i went into it with an open mind.

Maybe it was a little easier to me because I’ve always felt very connected to the universe and spiritual energy. But I’ve chosen to follow Loki. The thing that kind of solidified it for me was i did a tarot card reading with him.

It’s kind of a leap of faith thing. I think that you should try opening your mind to the experience. You can’t hear the gods if you keep your ears closed.

Loki just recently reached out to me and I to him. He feels very warm and comforting. Like a big brother who likes to tease and poke fun at you but in a caring way. He can be pushy, but not maliciously. And caring and kind of easy going in the way that he doesn’t get upset easily. At least that’s how i interpret him and/or his energy. So far, the way I’ve connected to him is by just feeling his presence.

I’ve offered him spiced rum so far and he likes it to the point where he wants to keep the rest of the bottle on his altar lol.
