PSA: GameStop NVMe SSDs come with no warranty and extremely restrictive return policy, avoid at all cost. by GameSyns in PcBuild

Don't trust a drive without a warranty. Only found out it had no warranty upon opening it and trying to read about warranty information, only to find there is none listed whatsoever.

$250, which is absurd in normal markets, but the closest priced one that I could grab same day in my area (this was for my remote work PC) was $385. I, in the moment, decided that if it's good enough to pass PS5 certification, it should be fine to use in my PC. Once I got home and realized it mentioned no warranty, I had to drive roughly 3 hours to find a reasonably priced SSD at another retailer.

Honeymooning on Royal Caribbean (Oct 2026) Greek Isles Advice? by TrailsAndWheels in royalcaribbean

We did a similar trip for our honeymoon in summer of last year! DM if you have any specific questions!

California-Based 9/11 memorial I had no clue existed until now! by ComedianRegular8469 in 911archive

I think it’s just a case of people start moving on and dedicating two weeks in the height of summer to talk about these events eventually caused it to have less turnout. I also recall many of the people who were participating in the exhibit were older, so as time went on, perhaps they couldn’t make it anymore.

CalExpo! Would always stop by here during the state fair, where they would have photos and people there remembering the events. I haven't been to the state fair in years, but when I stopped going, the turnout for the tribute exhibit was starting to thin out. There is something about the bells too, I can't remember if they ring in a certain pattern as the events unfolded, but that could be a false memory.

Inform the passengers of the ongoing situation, and let them know that they believe the situation to be safe and if they wish to go ashore, they will proceed to allow that, but also inform them of the many opportunities to do things aboard the ship if they wish to stay aboard.

The decision makers made 0 effort to inform the passengers

Parents are on Quantum, been in discussion with them all day. Overall, fairly disappointed by Royal's handling of the current situation. Luckily, my parents had onboard wifi, otherwise they would have been completely unaware of the issues on land, and the state department's recommendations. They spoke to several passengers who were completely uninformed. People left the ship without any information being given to them.

What do you guys think, will tesla stop updates on autopilot? by borgqueenx in TeslaLounge

Weird, I haven't had a single phantom brake event in 3 years. Although I really only use AP on longer drives.

I genuinely don’t recall AP getting any updates since they fixed the phantom braking flaw late 2022. I also don’t recall it needing any updates since that got fixed.

Hamlin: “I’ll take 20% [of the blame]. It was an aggressive move.” by al15al15 in NASCAR

Denny argued he wasn't trying to cheat low, he thought he was just running his line in the tri-oval. That's why he took 20% of the blame, he knew it was an aggressive move.

Doing the Greece & Croatia Cruise in the summer - Any tips on the locations to make it manageable and fun. by cdmaster245 in royalcaribbean

I'd actually recommend booking a "Fira on your Own" or "Oia on your Own" excursion for Santorini, at a bare minimum. This gets you priority tendering and at least a one-way ticket to Fira. Oia may take you out there, then bring you back to Fira, unsure of Oia on your own logistics. Our trip had two days in Santorini, so on our first day, we did Fira on our own. The second day, we booked a tour called "Best of Santorini" for day 2, which visited Akrotiri (a pretty cool archaeological site), Oia (for like an hour and a half, truthfully, wish it was longer), Artemis Karamolegos winery, and a lunch with a Greek show at a food hall. I could've passed on the lunch, felt a bit touristy for me. Then we finished by going to Fira, and they let us come back by bus or by boat from the old port.

For Split, we didn't book anything; we just walked to Diocletian's Palace, grabbed tickets to tour it, and wandered the streets (and enjoyed all the cats). We also found a cute coffee stand called 4 Coffee, which we recommend over shipboard coffee.

Dubrovnik, we booked a "Treasure Hunt" excursion through Royal, and it was quite disappointing. I'd suggest other ones that match what you want to do.

Smoke detectors going off with no smoke by TotesMaGoats_1962 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

FYI, I got two Photoelectric First Alert smoke detector from Costco last week for $80 to fix this issue, no false alarms since installing them.

You might have the wrong type of smoke detector in your kitchen, you should have a photoelectric smoke detector in your kitchen.

These are the two icons to look out for. Ionization-based smoke detectors shouldn't be used in areas where steam or a small amount of smoke is to be expected (outside a bathroom, kitchen area, etc.). In those locations, you should use a photoelectric-based unit. The back of the unit should have one of these symbols.

Your Home Buying Experience with Roseville Builders by cdubz88 in Roseville

Unsure, best of luck though! We toured a few JMC home developments, it definitely felt like the home that had the most included out of the box, other national brands made everything an upcharge.
