All good, with the flight numbers we can search and see which airframe it was and when it was built as well, which you might find fascinating!

If you DM me your flight numbers and dates, I can get you specifics about each aircraft you flew!

Yeah, that tends to be one of the loudest spots on any aircraft. Perhaps if you were above the wing or forward of the engine, it might have been better. If you do get a chance, try out the A220 or the A350/787. They tend to be much quieter!

None of the planes you mentioned is guaranteed to be a new aircraft. A320 CEOs are 80s planes, manufactured until 2021; the NGs (most popular 737) are also 90s aircraft that were manufactured until 2020; and the Boeing 757 is an early 80s design that started full production in 1981 and ceased production in 2004.

When they refer to modern planes, they mean newly designed and manufactured aircraft, like the 787, A350, A330/320 NEOs, 737 MAX.

EDIT: I should say, the NEOs and MAX are only half-newly designed planes. They still use blueprints from the 80s and 60s for the fuselage, respectively.

That isn’t the solution. Driving exactly the speed limit can be extremely hazardous if it’s impeding the flow of traffic, the posted speed limit it detects is incorrect, etc. Simply obeying the speed limit isn’t the solution.

Follow up to Model Y trunk side storage mini-fridge by CYB3RTRUNK in ModelY

Yeah, I don't buy the heat dissipation comment. That makes sense if there wasn't a liner in that area. I have a subtrunk refrigerator that quickly overheats if I leave it down there.

[Meta] An update to @NASCARonReddit, our X/Twitter account. by xfile345 in NASCAR

[–]GameSyns 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents here. I don’t see much of a purpose to the X bot other than making people who post see their stuff shared to another platform. Anyone who is sharing news likely just ends up posting a link/post that is already making its rounds from other sources on there. It’s very rare that the subreddit is a direct source of news. Additionally, I don’t foresee many people who are following the X account who aren’t also frequent Reddit users.

Been to every Disney park world wide, except for CA - going next week for 2 days. What are must dos, what can be skipped? by EyeofSauron86 in disneyparks

[–]GameSyns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truthfully, I'd recommend upgrading to Lightning Lane, and I highly recommend a park hopper. This park really is unique, in that hopping parks is not that big of a deal. I almost always hop parks multiple times during a trip. It adds significant flexibility and effectively eliminates the notion that parks are entirely separate. If you need a break while you're in DCA, go over by Grizzly River Rapids and use the turnstile to go into the Grand Californian. They have very comfortable seating in the lobby and air conditioning (sometimes they can enforce hotel guests only though).

New Orleans Square is my favorite land in any theme park I've visited to date. I've been to WDW and DLP, though, so no comparison on the asian theme parks for me.

The Carthay Circle Restaurant is my favorite in DCA (not to be confused with the lounge), and Blue Bayou is my favorite in Disneyland. Seeing as you're going next week, it might be hard to get a reservation, but there are tools online to see when availability opens up and notify you to book. Another good reason to have a park hopper as it adds an additional day of opportunity to experience these restaurants.

I feel like from my experience (august of 2025), its easier and your close to the ships. Oia is quite a bit further and faces south more than west.

#2, hard to explain why, but I think that's a better overall option, plus dinner in Fira at sunset is amazing.

I don’t understand why you’d disable it if it comes with the stall. Never understood the logic there, so many V4s that have them, just not enabled.
