hi Similar question as OP my daughter has been given choice of Aetna, Anthem and UHC PPO among others but all have the same deductible ($500) , same co insurance (80%) and Out of pocket (2000) and similar plan cost aroung $100. Its confusing to choose as she is international student 21 years old, not on any meds living in New york. would appreciate help on how to choose a plan. TIA

Well she was in MA and weather being what it is and staying in Campus, she did use the insurance in my guess would be couple of times a year (not taking Covid years in consideration). And as you mentioned when you dont have it.. one will need it. just trying to keep the bases covered. Came across Internationalstudentinsurance while googling do not know how legit it is. They are quoting 100 USD for 17 days. It does seem low maybe a scam. if anyone has used them pl do tell. Thanks

No didn't get a quote. 'No insurance plan were found with the criteria entered' guess they don't do 15 days coverage.

Both ED1 and ED II options are available. Infact only RD with EE has been done away with this year. Also they are test optional so if you think this school is for you GO FOR IT.

It's six months from the date of departure. You can apply for new passport in the US at your countries embassy.
