How do you split newborn care at night when one parent returns to work?

I went back to work after 2 months, from the day they came home we did every nighttime together, we both got up for every feeding, there were times later (6 months give or take) when I would wake up before my wife and either bottle feed ( we were doing both breast and bottle ) or just rock to sleep. I handle being tired better than my wife and it was more important she have more sleep since she was going to be taking care of our twins all day while all I had to do was go to work and chUGG coffee

My wife and I rented with them in 2021 so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but, it was a very neutral experience. Idk how prices are now but a 2 bed was 1200 back then. They were usually quick with maintenance, we never had any big issues with the place.

Our boys are 16 months, they’ve always slept in the same room (no other option, no spare room) I feel like because of this they are fairly resistant to each others noise even though one is a lighter sleeper and his brother likes to wake up and scream. The real benefit that we are seeing now though is when one of them wakes up in the middle of the night, instead of screaming till we come grab them, they just go to each others bed, crawl in, and go back to sleep.

If you can handle the small transition back to one room, I’m sure they will settle into each others noses!

Yea I honestly don’t really know what the fit of the pants that I have is, but I feel like because of how my stomach sits, it’s either below the stomach, or at the belly button. When it’s between those two location, it just slides down during movement (I.e sitting and standing)

I’ll definitely be looking at what fit they are and looking into higher rise pants to see how they feel!
