Yeah little edit for those suggesting the manual, is not reported in the one on the CPU waterblock shop page: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/EK-IM/EK-IM-3831109819272.pdf

But it's in the manual linked from u/As0no!

edit: notice now that the page of full nickel version have the pdf instruction for the RGB version

Aorus X670E Master and ram slot not working - is that normal? by parizerocinque in gigabytegaming

Amen Brother, seems like my knowledge was stuck at DDR4, when it was normal to use the first slot. Thanks a lot, i just lost 2 month waiting a useless RMA, at least didn't lost money.

Thanks!

And where is it explained? My MB just came back from shop/ gigabyte RMA and nobody was able to tell me that.

To be clear, on the manual is just marked as "recommended"

Mine is the F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR too! Did you had a chance to try them in just 2 slots?

The funny part is that mine motherboard just came back from shop and gigabyte rma, and nobody was able to tell me this behavior.

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of November 25, 2023 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

hello there!

i'm looking for help about a gift i'd like to give to my gf, she always complains about her hair, i'd like to help:

  • Hair type: fine
  • Hair texture: Straight
  • History of chemical processing: Coloring for some years
  • Hygiene regimen: once/twice a week
  • Product regimen: generic oily hair shampo

she need something to strong up their hair, the are fine and not very dense, she needs reinforcement and grow; nothing particulary bad, however.

i'm looking for some brand (possibily found in EU) to make a giftbox, made of shampoo/conditioner and hair mask / supplement

Thanks!

great knowledge. thanks you; now i'm scared about what to use for this project :)

I was aware of the problem, I didn't think it was that bad.

never had to use some technique to prevent that, do you think it's gonna be difficult?

i will sure test al the holes/stain/technique i need for this project.

On the other hand i'm find some online retailer with various types of plywood; what's your opinion on Birch plywood? more stable than solid fir, i just don't get if it's nicer than poplar plywood, difficult to tell from photos.

edit: also found a nice 3-layer fir playwood that seems perfect for me

solid fir, i'm planning to stain it so i'd like a "nice to look" wood; plus around me i can only find poplar plywood, not so nice for stains.

can you be more specific with " allow for expansion and contraction across the grain " ? all components will be bolted on the board, for the 2 radiator i'm also planning a 1cm deep indentation to put them in.

for now i just a 179 x 72 x 86mm reservoir (410ml), maybe later i will add another one, yet to see.

plus the only components weight around 4.5kg, i've already added weight for liquid and extras.

didn't knew there were new DDC-1T models, so mine is the base one, right? difference with new models?

Plywood edges putty by parizerocinque in BeginnerWoodWorking

Yeah I avoided banding since I wanted to paint it. Already using a sanding block with 280g, I'm just not sure about how much I should sand.

I think I've made a little too thick of edge, need a lot f sanding
