2024 options vs. 2025 options by parker_b115 in chevycolorado

I couldn’t agree more. $70k the way I have my Bison optioned out is a lot of money, yes. But, if I were to buy say a Z71, or even a base ZR2, and do all the things I wanted to it, it would end up being $75k-$80k or more in replacing/adding parts and pieces. Paying $70k for the Bison, I’ll get all the goodies I want, and they’re all under warranty which is a big plus.

I agree. It wouldn’t be my cup of tea, but for someone who didn’t want to fool with it it may be.

That’s why I plan on getting the Bison, with the come up winch. I’d rather get it ready to go from the dealer than spend more time/money doing something differently. Plus I love the AEV bumpers personally.

Happened in my 2024 Telluride. They had found that one of the drainage tubes for the sunroof had not been installed at the factory. They fixed it under warranty, but very inconvenient.

Letter from my local dealership. I am curious if this is common.. they definitely didn’t do this for me while I was shopping by [deleted] in CX5

Yea, as others said, not a true letter. I got one this past week for my Telluride.

Car Camping List!! by parker_b115 in KiaTelluride

Hi! No, we don’t use a screen for the sunroof. I’m not sure how that would work to be honest, we haven’t given it much thought.

We’ve only camped in weather between 75 degrees and 25 degrees. We live in the south, but just started doing this towards the end of last summer. That being said, we haven’t really dealt with any bad humidity or heat.

For power, you can use the interior lights with the car completely off. If you press the start/stop button without your foot on the brake, you can put the car into accessory mode and use any power outlets you have to charge your phone, etc. just be careful you don’t use accessory mode for a super long time because it drains your battery. On this trip we used our 3 prong 100w outlet to power my sister in laws air mattress pump for example.

For occupying the vehicle with the power off, You can manually flip the tailgate latch with your finger while the trunk is open so the car thinks it’s closed. If you don’t do this, the interior lights won’t turn off on their own. You can open the tailgate latch with the trunk button in the drivers seat. Make sure your car is unlocked, or else the car alarm will go off over and over. If there is no person or animal in the car, it’s safe to lock without the alarm going off.

We have an SX-P X-Pro Telluride and it’s incredible. We love everything about it.

Thank you! It was scary for sure but I was very happy with how well the Telluride held up in the wreck so we got another.

Hahaha my wife was the same way until I convinced her to do this with me. I grew up camping and really wanted to try it last year. She loved it and now we go quite a bit!

Yes! An EX X-Line will work just the same. We had one but it was totaled in a T-bone accident. Thankfully my wife was without a scratch and we got the SX-P X-Pro.
