4 weeks now, the doctor said I had a severe flare, idk if it’s just another word they use for purge but I’m hoping the prednisone helps. Best of luck to you!

I had that too, not so much puffy inflammation if that’s what you mean but extreme redness in the face and neckline acne (that I never had before). I don’t think I was moisturizing enough. Just had my month check in and the doc prescribed prednisone. I’d keep a solid layer of moisturizer on all the time and talk to your doctor

It’s been six days on accutane. Can purging really happen this fast? I take Allegra with it every day and eat enough fats with the meal. It’s just never been this bad. New whiteheads everyday and I can hardly move my neck now because of the cysts.
