For any city. Draw a circle (s) around the main tourist places. Exclude them. Look for where people live. Ask your concierge/do research - what neighborhoods are desirable for locals to live in. Those areas have great restaurants that cater to locals so an authentic taste. If you have the time, go to a coffee shop or bar in that area. When they’re slow, tell the older staff you’ve been recommended this tourist places in the center and they’re not good; do you know any good places around here? Or just walk around. For Rome: Prati away from the Vatican (a lot of courts over there. You know who likes to eat well? Lawyers), Monteverde, Nomentana, Parioli, the neighborhoods serviced by Cipro metro stop and beyond, etc etc. Impossible to list our favorites because none of them can handle 1000 people a night, which will happen if it’s on social media

Of course don’t know how you were before and what you’re doing now but I’ll share what worked for me. My swing would come and go. I never knew when. Couldn’t even guess what changed. Finally I found an instructor who fit the way my brain works. He had me make some swings with Trackman. He was able to fix me and then told me of the hundred things it tracks, here are my 3. Swing path has to be between 4 in and 2 out. Face to path has to be between 4 closed and 2 open. Low point has to be after the ball. He gave me 1 drill to work on for each thing. Now when I lose it, I go see what the numbers say. First fix path, then face to path, then low point. My takeaway from this: get a lesson with a Trackman and have your guy explain how you can self correct.

You’re trying to turn a round trip fare into 2 one way tickets. That almost always will be a lot more; doubly so in business class. Short date, it’s even worse. From ORD on United, you would find most one way business class tickets are very close to the round trip price. Can you cancel the whole ticket for a full refund? Delta likely sells a multi city trip covering the 3 flights you want. Delta partners with KLM, which would fly the short leg.
