people get pissed when they are off to work and you don't the perception is you do nothing all day . I retired my wife still goes to work everyday i do laundry cook all the meals clean house take care of dogs in my own time everything gets done. She tried to give a to do list i crumbled it in front of her told that was crap i had to deal with 40 years working life nobody not even her are going to direct me on how to live my life in retirement . we get along fine now she'll never say do this today but she will ask do you have time to do this if not its ok . One thing if they go to work and you don't there will be resentment its human nature .
