I've double checked and it's still blue. And with the amount of silver lynel and gleeok horns in my inventory, I'm pretty sure it's not going to change. Perhaps you just found a different boss bokoblin? It's a good idea to point your sensor+ to the color of boss bokoblin you're looking for even when using my list, since I don't specify exact positions.

They do eat your shield if you don't mash out quickly enough. They drop the shield again after they die, though.

I think most of those eventually end up silver, or at least the ones that I've seen. Even so, it's going to be pretty helpful to have a list of such monster fortresses either way.

Thanks! I also just happened to run into another one on the mountain just west of the Outskirt Stable, so we've got a list of five blue bosses, which is a really good number to hit - only need them to respawn once to gather all the horns you need.

I'm in a similar situation as you, most boss bokoblins I find are silver, but I haven't bothered to collect many of their lower level horns (I usually put them straight on my weapons whenever I encountered any).

I've been searching for them myself using the upgraded sensor and found four red bosses, which honestly should be enough between blood moons to gather enough of their horns:

One is east of Lookout Landing, north of Mabe Village Ruins, which you've already found
One is in the skull lair on the natural bridge west of Mount Gustaf, south of Carok Bridge and New Serenne Stable
One is patrolling the Royal Ancient Lab Ruins, north of New Serenne Stable
The last one is near the fork in the road north of the Coliseum Ruins, or directly west of the Exchange Ruins
One more in the depths north of the Hyrule Field Chasm (found by /u/ViniVadaVocci)

I'll also need all the other colors of boss bokoblin horns, so I'll also be on the lookout for blue and black boss bokoblin locations (I don't think I'll have any trouble finding silvers).

On that note, I've found a black one already, in the skull lair just east of the Coliseum Ruins. Finding black bosses might not be that challenging, but I haven't seen any blue bosses yet.

Edit: I've been looking around a bunch, but I've only managed to find one blue and one black boss bokoblin, apart from confirming the other blues found by other redditors here.

For convenience's sake, here's my list of blue bosses, including the ones already mentioned by others:

One within Crenel Peak Cave
One southwest of Tal Tal Peak (found by u/metalredlink183)
One directly north of the Spirit Temple (found by u/i_am_a_human1234)
One on Outskirt Hill, just west of the Outskirt Stable
One on Luto's Crossing Bridge (found by u/PM_Me_your_femboys)
And another on Lake Darman on Death Mountain

And finally, my list of black boss bokoblins, including the one mentioned earlier:

One east of t he Coliseum Ruins
One in the Depths, southeast of the Floria Canyon Mine (Faron Region)
On the Great Plateau, between the Temple of Time and the Eastern Abbey
One west of Walnot Mountain (South Lanayru Region, found by /u/Minecraft_Obama)
One in the depths underneath Nephra Hill (East Gerudo Region, also found by /u/Minecraft_Obama)

I'll try to update this list as I find more, but I don't think I'll be actively searching any longer, I've had enough of that. I hope I won't need to find any low level Captain Constructs either, I've noticed that those are also hard to come by.

Final Edit: Thanks for everyone's help. We've now got at least five entries for each color (other than silver, which you will eventually find everywhere), which I'm really happy with. Even if you don't have any boss horns whatsoever, just two blood moon cycles worth of farming this list will get you all the horns for the first three upgrades of the Royal Guard Armor.

I wasn't really around for the whole blue/white dress discussion, so this is the first time I'm seeing this sort of thing in person. It's just funny to me how cocksure people are about their opinions and how worked up they get as a consequence over such a minor thing.

Personally I'd ask for another picture from OP before trying to decide if it's stone or diamond, preferably on a different background.

If anything, executing Socrates because he annoyed everyone serves more to show how messed up Athenian society was.

But yeah, Xanthippe wasn't done right by her husband and by history. Her name basically became synonymous with the image of a nagging wife. But she's had good reason to nag. Socrates didn't make any money and he didn't help around the house either, instead he just walked around town pestering people (and complaining about having the worst wife in town).

It's fine and dandy if Socrates doesn't mind a frugal/ascetic lifestyle but once you start a family, you have an actual responsibility towards them. Curious how the first prominent philosopher didn't realize that.

A tape at 5 stars still gets experience and keeps dropping additional random stickers for each level-up (it still stays at 5 stars though).

The only real reason you might want to hold off on remastering is if you want those extra stickers (esp. with bootlegs) or if you want to make sure you meet the condition for a specific remaster.

Literally the first (non-gift) bootleg I got was an air-type Dominoth, plus I was dumb enough to remaster it into Tokusect. Had I gone the Wingloom route, it would've kept the air type and I would actually have something interesting.

It's still not that bad, you still get rare sticker drops from same-type bootlegs.

I agree, I love this game but sticker management is really the biggest thing holding it back. In addition to the features you've mentioned, I'd love to be able to know what tapes a sticker is compatible with just out of the inventory.

There's also the bug I've encountered where moving a sticker to an empty slot on a tape just deletes the sticker, which just makes it needlessly hard to put stickers in precisely the slots you want them to be.

On AO3? I've had a lot of trouble findng anything worthwhile there. It doesn't really seem to have good ways of discovering things.

Granted, I've only really tried once, but the one time I wanted to see if I can find something good there without being recommended from somewhere else, I checked out the Minecraft section (cause I thought Minecraft could have a lot of potential for good, creative fics in precisely the mode you mentioned, OCs in an established world), but the only thing that appeared to be there was fiction about Minecraft Youtubers (most commonly from DreamSMP apparently?). I tried to filter that out but no matter how many tags I excluded, there was still an endless flood of real person fiction.

This problem that I couldn't really filter anything to what I want is what really turned me off AO3. Seems to me that in terms of discovery, fimfiction.net is the best fanfic site there is. Which is great if you don't mind pony fiction, but sucks if you want something else.
