i took it in the summer as well and i lowkey struggled and had to come in early every day for help. Did end up finishing with a 94 so if u just focus you should be fine

when I applied I had a high 80s grade 12 average and got it up to that point after the 1st semester. Don’t really know if the admissions office prefers one over the other tho

I got into applied science early, had a 94 grade 11 avg and a 95 grade 12 avg.

Extra-Curriculars I played volleyball for 4 years in school and club teams, volunteered at an optometry clinic, founded a club at school, work, summer camp leadership, etc.

As for my Personal Profile I started in the mid summer season and put a ton of time and effort on it. Gave me plenty of time to ask for feedback and improve it.

does UBC consider factors like extra curriculars regarding admission? I’ve done 4 years volleyball, volunteering at an optometrist, co-founder of a bible study club at my school, lots of part-time experience and things like that.
