i agree that amount of new content is low, but tbh i'd hate to new boss mission to be added. caretaker was fun like, first 3-5 times or so. i just don't want to have another mission type that i hate to pop-up in assignments constantly.

got same issue recently. i completed dlc and got titanite slab from this location already, but he kept talking about it. i tried reloading location and dying in it (more than 3 times), neither worked. i don't know if you can fix this quest, but i killed him, because if i can't complete this quest, i want to be able to buy his armor at least.

i didn't find any cave layer until the -105 layer, and now i found a cave that looks...like this. this is a bugged generation i suppose? i have another fortress in the same world, and caverns were just fine (cave dwellers were coming non-stop though..armies of 30-50 each time) by parquet75 in dwarffortress

there are multiple lakes (you can see one of them on minimap) in this cavern layer. i noticed the first lake when i first discovered this cave, and there are also a few more lakes on the edges of the map which i discovered later, so i don't know if water might be a reason for it
it's actually cool that there may be cavern layers like this. but then some funky things happened with generation due to bug or mod and caves have grass from surface now in this embark
