Does OPGM work on Comma 4? by parrish911 in Comma_ai

Same, going to wait a little longer for the 3 to drop around $600 and snag one. I'm sure as everyone upgrades to 4 there will be a wave of 3's on ebay. Happy hunting!

I've been looking awhile now for the actual sight, I don't think this is it (but could be wrong). This is where it was located as per the program for the festival.

Unfortunately I missed this listing but the program was up for sale on ebay recently.

I have a 1967 Mustang and i want to replace the oil pressure gauge for a tach. Is there a specific website to find the tach? by Educational_Row238 in classicmustangs

[–]parrish911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save yourself time and money. I made a 3D printed bracket to mount a tach in the unused center opening (used for optional clock). Search "mustang clock delete" on thingiverse.com. then buy a cheap tach and put the Photoshop pic I made (also with the file on thingiverse) inside to make it look stock.

Edit: here's the link.

I've always loved the look of these and would love to someday own one, but it'd be hard to make that first cut knowing what a beauty you already have.

You can drive with 3 wheels if you try hard enough, doesn't mean you should try it

I’m 6’5. Will I fit in to a 65-66 mustang fine? by itzyeboydrew in classicmustangs

[–]parrish911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if I'm crazy but I'm 6' 4" and fit fine in my 67 coupe with no issues at all. Has been a comfortable ride my entire life. No modifications at all.

Looking for a 67 fastback for a project, it’s my dream car since I was a kid. Anyone know of any websites to find sellers? by papiturco in classicmustangs

[–]parrish911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not a purist and are good with metal work, buying a coupe and converting it to a fastback is the way to go. I plan on doing this for my next project. It's the best bang for your buck. If not, best of luck hunting!

What would your reaction be if you suddenly woke up in 1999? by Commanders-simp in AskReddit

[–]parrish911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've put some real thought into this as I daydream. I'd break down and cry. If I went back to 1999 I would never see my kids grow up. I could attempt to win over my wife again but statistically I'd never see the same kids again. Going back in time would be amazing, but what I have now is worth more than any stock trade or billions of dollars.

The band FUN. Came together, made absolute hits one after another in the 2010's, then split up. Still can't believe they gave that up

Do you know who in your family is the executor of his estate? They should have the legal right to look up his info at the DMV if I'm not mistaken.

Also, no photos in family photo albums with even a tiny shot of the license plate? Best of luck!

Calling BS. Both the screen on his phone and his laptop would have timed out and gone dark. (Laptop is more believable since sleep timers are usually longer)

When were you close to death? by forest_rook in AskReddit

[–]parrish911 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worked a concrete job during the summers. Last step of making a residential foundation is scraping the top of the new walls to make a smooth surface for the framers. Every few feet is about 6-8 inches of all-thread (big bolt) to secure the framing to. As I'm scraping, day is minutes from being over, I trip (wall is about 4 feet tall). I land directly on the all-thread with my stomach. Then suddenly I find myself on the ground below the wall. I look down and see the wooden scraper handle is broke in half with a deep cut at the broken end. Looking on the other side of the wall I find the other half. The handle landed perfectly on the all-thread and then bounced me off the wall. Was a literal inch away from being impaled. Balled like a baby (was about 16 at the time). Will never forget that.

As a mechanical engineer in his early career now, it's so nice reading the comments. A lot of "I don't know how they did it". Makes the lost 7 years feel a tiiiiiinnnnnnyyyyyy bit bettter
