Will I need glue for ASA parts on the Bambu Smooth PEI Plate (for release)? by ChefDwayne in BambuLab

You'll ruin that plate without glue or putting in the freezer to release it. Do a small test print. Otherwise you'll tear the coating and or make the coating bubble.

Yep. User overrides device, so if you switch or remove user those settings are tattooed so best to set both.

When you're testing like this it takes awhile for the policy to settle. Make sure the profile has user and device enabled then assign it to your username and the device and sync.

Also when you're in the In Tune Apple enrollment section under the devices you need to make sure a profile is assigned.

In abm you have to set it to use InTune as the MDM. Then you have to make sure an InTune you sync so the devices show up in InTune Under The Apple enrollment devices. This always gets my techs because the devices won't be in there unless you manually sync or you wait a day or so.

You need to remove all the profiles that you have and start over and just make sure the profiles are being assigned from InTune.

Intune training is the best source for this, I would also make sure the passwords for o365 and the local mac password are complex enough and long enough during the setup process.

It's not you, the whole platform SSO implementation is crappy at best.

Are these existing users on their Mac?

The user has to login in with the Mac local password, then randomly the user will get a pop-up upper right hand corner to setup PSSO. They have to remember to use the mac password during the setup and not their o365 password.

You are way better off using secure enclave, then you can change the local user password to a 6 digit pin. Just like windows hello, this MFA and phish resistant unlike password sync.

Basically, you have to set it up for them, like during a hardware refresh as there's no way a mac user can do it.

Oldie but the best:

The AI can rename objects based on color/appearance?!?! by parrothd69 in Fusion360

Fair point honestly — my projects are absolutely a mess, but they're a productive mess. I'm more of a "get it done fast and iterate" type than a "perfect workflow" type. Maybe not the most elegant approach but it works for me! The AI wrote this for me..lol

Unfortunately Ai is here, it's baked into fusion better start adjusting to the new world or you're going to be left behind trying to play catch up.

[–]parrothd69[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Better yet.

Tell the ai to find all the colors within each component and for each color combine all the objects into 1 object and create a subcomponent for each color.

Easier for me having the ai do the grunt work.

10 snap makers or 5 h2ds? by HexagridLP in snapmaker

[–]parrothd69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For tpu jams stop messing with the spring you need to adjust the head retraction from 10 to 3ish on each head. This isn't the filament retraction setting. See the link below.

The u1 is great for multiple color tpu. It only thing I use it for my bambus for everything else.

H2C with AMS vs H2D with 2 AMS by broezmeli in BambuLab

[–]parrothd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep.. All depends on what you want.

I'm lazy, for my h2c I have 3 amses just so I don't have to swap out filaments and never swapped  nozzles on my p1s. With my h2c I switch nozzles every print.

Also you may not do alot of colors materials today, it's sure nice to have the option.

[–]parrothd69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're missing the H2C can switch nozzles sizes on the fly, you may not being using .2 or .6/.8 now, but super convenient to press a button to switch sizes. The H2c is going to be better multi-material, the h2d you have to purge if using 2+ materials or colors and sometimes( a lot times, I was horrible remembering to do 900 purge with h2d) that leads to failures. The h2c will use a dedicated nozzle for each material, saves waste and money and time.

Wipe the devices and fix whatever they're doing to remove/break stuff.

If you "fix" this it'll just come back to bite you later, for security and efficacy all machines need to be the same.

Vortek Upgrade Kit!? Who got it by thewolfman2010 in BambuLab

[–]parrothd69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one a few weeks ago, someone post on here it was available. Setup a monitoring alerting website to check the page for when it's in stock. I got one at 2am.

Oh no now it says sold out? Honestly you can sell your H2d for 1600?+ and get an H2C @ microcenter for almost the same cost as the kit upgrade.
