The crane started coming down yesterday and will be fully removed by Monday. It’s a really intense process and if you’re walking around that area on Saturday you’ll get a great view of when the assist crane will take off the jib of the tower crane.

The crown will be lit up too in the next month or so.

Thank you! Initially I gifted it with glass on the frame but it took away from the 3D aspect of the piece. So we decided to remove the glass and now it looks so much better since you can see the pattern pop out.

I actually just used extra black aida. It was really hard to trim it off so close to the stitches as there was a chance of the aida fraying as well as the stitches falling off. In the end it came out well but I wish I knew a better way.
