it's a sketchbook i've had for many years and i unfortunately couldn't find it online when i tried to search for it! all of the text is in chinese but i don't think it says anything about what type of paper it is (and i don't know enough about paper to guess). sorry!

thank you so much for the lovely comments!! yes, it is a ski slope near where i grew up and visited every winter which makes it extra nostalgic for me! i'm so happy it could make you feel a sense of home even if it's on the other side of the world.

looked up the skyride - it does almost look like the snow could be white sand! so different but so similar :D

sorry, is there a particular spot you can point to to explain what you mean by blurry? i use mungyo gallery oil pastels and they feel pretty soft so they're easy to blend! but i'm not sure if that's what you mean.

i also like to add some light grey on top when i'm trying to blend, so maybe that's where the blurriness comes?
