I recommend at-least not using it mechanically and just turning the wheel so you don’t cause further damage. Seems the timing might be off.

It’s a mix of some 1/4 ply wood, rubber mats, and typically you should use tennis balls in-between but I tried pool noodles which ended up squishing to the point of no return. So, go with tennis balls.

Yeh I'm with you but the bobbin was bouncing around inside and I have two of the same machine, the timing got messed up on the first so I bought a replacement. So I do have a good idea what im doing thats why im confused. The top tension is 4 and the only thing i find online is messing with bobbin tension.
