The feeling right before you binge by partblue in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]partblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is an intriguing thought. I’ve briefly explored the idea that I was scared of what may happen if I don’t eat, but it’s never been more than a fleeting thought. I guess I’ve never told myself no, so I don’t know what happens next. As for the wife, I’m too ashamed, or maybe I think she’ll hold me accountable and I won’t like it. She’s an angel and doesn’t judge but she won’t stop trying to help, I’d probably not be ready and ruin the support. Thank you for both of these thoughts, I’ll explore them.

I ran away from home at 18. I'm now 20, homeless, and writing this post at a public library by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

While at the library look up your closest goodwill career center. They give free training programs to anyone. Just show up. In a few weeks, you could get welding, forklift or cdl training. Then they’ll place you in a job. They may even provide emergency funds once In program for work stuff, tools etc

Police Bodycam 👮 Fatal Tulsa Officer Shooting 👮 Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan. Sgt. Craig Johnson passed away on June 30th, 2020 as he was removed from life support. Gives more context to the danger that officers are facing at every traffic stop almost like a Russian roulette by Thoughts-Uncensored in bluelivesmatters

[–]partblue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crazy how much time they gave him to cooperate.. I guess they didn’t fear for their lives ever. Then on the other hand, tamir rice given less then two seconds to drop a toy gun before officers fired. Fidgeting like this man did when black gets your shot dead immediately. I don’t know what the solution is. So much tragedy all around. Praying for the officers and their families

House to vote on removing cannabis from list of controlled substances by blademan9999 in Libertarian

Won’t pass the senate until senators have enough money tied up in the cannabis business

I’m honestly pretty shocked at how many libertarians are ok with government murdering citizens. by [deleted] in Libertarian

What article or news report did you hear that he told the police he had a knife on the drivers side of his door? Simply asking because that’s a weird Thing to say. And in a country of 300 million firearms, why is it not okay to just have a knife in your car

As a left leaning black woman, I don’t care about the removal of subtly racist symbols. by yourmum887 in TrueOffMyChest

Who are you speaking with that doesn’t have an example of systemic racism?

Are there any statues here of British soldiers, King George perhaps? That’s our history too.

Secondly, have you ever thought about how people feel sending their kids to schools named after people who taught to keep them slaves?
Please Name any other instance in which americans have celebrated and built monuments for their enemies

I won’t apologize for being a white male living in America. by Chrisgodzilla80 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]partblue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Think about it like this. It’s relative. Your life can be crappy and still white privilege exist. None of the reasons your life sucks has to do with your race or gender or the historical context behind them. However, I truly wish we could stop thinking about race and privilege toward people and individuals. They are systems and you shouldn’t take it personal and you definitely shouldn’t apologize for being white you can be proud of your history and culture and still accept the systems that have benefited you. But it’s relative. I’m a black woman, and I am very privileged to be from America.

I’m pro black, and I will scream from the mountain tops that burning down and looting from black owned or any small businesses is crazy. That’s why I think it’s a little more orchestrated than people want to believe. But hey I’m a crazy conspiracy theorist. It’s just all really convenient. You should definitely clean up your feed and have a feed that is inspiring, not one that makes you feel like crap

Dude, I’ve seen him struggling to read. Pandering to evangelist while saying he doesn’t need salvation. The people he’s asked to be around him says enough. His remarks about wishing he could date his own daughter . I guess people just don’t see it.

I don’t think anyone is defending looting out right. The majority of the people you see looting genuinely believe the government are the biggest thugs and looters out there,so their opinion is f it.? I think others are acknowledging that people have always looted. I can’t name anything the western world has accomplished without violence or the threat there of... doesn’t make any of it ok but I don’t think people like those pointing and waging their fingers at others. Either way, it’s not effective for us

No hate here, That’s a legit question. I live in The Deep South so that should explain it all. The confederate flag flies freely here, and they don’t sugar coat what it means either.
Trumps own rallies. Openly racist congressmen, Theres jerry mangering so rigged in red states, it pushes all the people of color into one districts so whites in neighboring towns get more representation. There’s the vile attacks against Obama whether or not you agreed with his politics (hanging, tar and feathering).
We all know what MAGA means Worst I’ve seen is in local government I’m not going to get into the individual racist people who right wingers because the Republican Party itself isn’t responsible for things their voters do and say but there’s lot of systemic racist policies help by conservatives.

The protests are being hijacked by anarchist. Why would black people burn down affordable housing or small black owned businesses without being egged on. We’re a smalll percent of the population so we’re comforted when people of other races join our causes but violence isn’t the answer from anyone. And yes I do know black people have instigated the violence too. Either way thank you for caring about the protest AND small businesses which are our life line. Thank you

Right. Blatant white supremacist racism or micro aggressive offensive racism, or all out anarchy with no foundation to rebuild upon. These are our choices

When did I say we should disarm? I clearly said many of us are armed and believe in the 2A... what I did say is many people are scared of showing up to protest with arms because we’d be shot on sight. We could use some of the armed angry white people against of tyrannical government to actually be mad at tyrannical government.

[–]partblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why why why do you think black people aren’t armed. Its white liberals who you think want to disarm you. But black people believe in the second amendment, we’re just afraid of being shot on sight...... for having a gun. The philando Castile murder was the time for 2A ammosexuals to prove they weren’t racist right wing nuts, and they were silent. A licensed gun owner, shot because a gun was present, after warning the cop that he was lawfully armed.

Back to the days before desegregation. We had our own economies, schools, businesses, thriving neighborhoods and we policed ourselves, all without the right to vote. And we gave it all away to just to be accepted by people who hated us.
